    Good report.

DDJ Worthley knew all about OPS .... all the courts on the south coast know about OPS

Without going back through this thread, do I assume the losing legal was QDR ?

So OPS have to pay you £285 and whatever the legal charges

OPS should now be suing the legal for total incompetence

    Well done, the perfect win

Absolutely LOVE this court report and it reassures me that the local Judges are not being swayed by the awful OPS Appeal Judgment in OPS v Wilshaw where an honest and upstanding 70 year old woman had to part pay for OPS' four figure costs.

Each case is different but yours is sweet karma.

In my opinion, £19 an hour is chicken feed..  In the 90s, whern I was a British Consul, my time was charged to members of the public at over £80 an hour, now it is over £150 an hour.  When I had bto fly from Houston to Santa Fe in regard to a child custody case my costs exceeded £1,000.
You never know how far you can go until you go too far.

I spend my life creating letters that can one day be shown to the judge, so add my agreement to the need to preserve everything and present your paperwork clearly and logically.  Create a folder at the outset (paper or electronic) and save everything within it.

CVP - neither good nor intuitive. God only knows why the court service can't use MS Teams or Zoom like everyone else. Why invent a platform that someone else has already spent many millions of dollars developing.
I agree with @Johnersh - different law field, but our awesome immigration solicitor likes working with us because I keep a copy of everything relevant, so anyone dealing with these PCNs would be best to do the same thing.

An excellent win against these chancers, and a comprehensive report.

Just one pedantic note: A District Judge, or Deputy, should be addressed as 'Sir' or 'Madam'.

'Your Honour' is the form of address for a Circuit Judge, or a High Court Jydge.

In my opinion, £19 an hour is chicken feed..

The rate is set by the MoJ in Practice Direction 46, part 3.4:

3.4  The amount, which may be allowed to a self represented litigant under rule 45.39(5)(b) and rule 46.5(4)(b), is £19 per hour.

I don't think they considered what the hourly rate for a British Consul in the 1990s may have been. But an hourly rate of £19 is equivalent to £37,050 per annum tax free, which is more than most people earn.
