Mine was issued yesterday moneys in the bank this morning

I spoke to someone at HMRC this morning who advised that I had to wait until 6th May as a security letter has been sent out yesterday. Has anyone any ideas what this might be for.

Must be additional security checks? Is your claim a substantial amount? What status is yours showing now still bank repayment pending?

Yes still bank repayment pending.  No more than any other year I’ve sent in.

Yes had the surf2 security check letter last year

Have they told you you’re going through automatic security checks or has it been flagged for additional ones? Also how did you find out?
