Just got off the phone to an adviser and was informed that due to the massive amount of fraud last year they believe that almost all returns are going to be subject to security checks this year and even those that have been paid out are likely to be looked at retrospectively. Very annoying considering many of us went through the process last year too so looks like most of us are looking at the 6 week turnaround again0

Did you have to do the security check over phone or they just told you it's passed0

Don’t call them up wait for a bit. That way they will definitely do checks lol. I never call call up and mine get issued on the 9th day every year.1
