I applied for my grant on Friday and just got an email to say it is being processed and will be in within 3 working days.

My tax return has been on bank repayment pending for nearly 2 weeks now

Probably because its being security checked. I can't see why people can't grasp that.

Just because of delays it does not mean it’s being security checked.
I have spoke with 4 different agents who have categorically stated mine is not in checks and it is a delay which will be resolved shortly... they have stated that a note would be placed onto my account had it been picked for checks.

I answered the question, I didn’t mention anything about being checked or not being able to grasp anything.

it seems like you’re the one bothered about the security checks you’re on every single post piping up about it

Probably because iv worked in the HMRC offices and know, along with other well informed posters in this forum what actually happens.

Any Self Assessment claim that is submitted and not paid out within the stated time frame will 99% of the time be picked up for security checks.

Do you honestly think the "agents" want the agro of telling a customer its been sent for security checks? Come back on here in a weeks time and let me know what position your in, I guarantee it will still be the same.

Did you fill in the letter HMRC sent you at the end of last year regarding compliance checks? If not, there's your problem.
