I had a great weekend with my family enjoying the Eurovision contest on Saturday. I managed to indoctrinate my grand daughter into joining in as well. Food was enjoyed too as we ordered pizza to keep us going through the competition.
Today I am back on track and trying a new recipe from the latest Slimming World magazine.
d - chicken, bacon and orzo bake
Weigh in tomorrow for me, but have been feeling a little under the weather this week so although I've not eaten much, I've also not done much exercise either, so we'll see I guess.'You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose' - Dr Suess

Sirens, it was really tasty but I added half a jar of harissa paste as it needed a bit of oomph. Chilli would be lovely I reckon x5

This week (weigh-in due tomorrow):
Thursday 1933 cals (4 veg/fruit) (3 chocolates = 165 cals)
Friday 1872 cals (5 veg/fruit) (2 chocolates = 110 cals)
Saturday 1791 cals (7 fruit/veg) (no chocolate or cake)
Sunday 1700 cals (5 veg/fruit) (no chocolate or cake)
Monday 1610 cals (8 veg/fruit) (4 chocolates)
Tuesday 1689 cals (6 veg/fruit) (2 chocolates)
Wednesday 1483 cals (5 fruit/veg) (no chocolate or cake)

(there are still 11 chocolates left in the box)

Well done everybody for your losses. This morning I have weighed in at exactly the flipping same!
However, I seem to have fallen into a reasonably healthy eating routine which if it maintains my weight in a week when I cant exercise, should hopefully result in a small loss on the weeks I can?

I'm delaying weigh-in till tomorrow but recording start of a new week:
Thursday 1617 cals (6 veg/fruit) (4 chocolates)
(there are now 7 chocolates left in the April birthday box)

Well I've managed a loss of -1lb this week, I am surprised as I've not really exercised since Monday. Feeling much better today so hope to get back to it today.'You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose' - Dr Suess

Did anyone see the programme 'What are we feeding our kids" on BBC 1 last night. Very interesting documentary about the affect of highly processed food on our bodies and brains. Relevant to us all, not just kids! And a bit scary really8
