I had plans to get up early and get to Li@l before the rush. Instead I got up late, did my exercise class, had a shower and breakfast and now I am sitting here with wet hair wasting time browsing on the internet.
If I dont go and attack my hair with brush and hairdryer soon it will dry into a frizzy nest that will frighten small children.
The house hasnt seen a duster or hoover all week and is looking decidedly neglected.
I will move in a minute ...9 -
Hello all. I've been for a dog walk today and have spent the morning volunteering. Dailies are done and I've just had an early lunch. Will wash up next then do some knitting.Spend less now, work less later.9

Good afternoon everyone
I haven't done much this morning. Watched a film with the kids, was going to go for a walk but I'm not sure my chest will cope with it today. We will see.

Still here in pj's having a quiet day wondering where the heat went. It was a lovely day yesterday and now it's cold and iffy. What a change!!!Not sure what the day will bring so taking it as it comes. I have a sleepy dog snuggling up with me at the moment - he's had a lovely walk with his dad earlier.Finished updating my Tesco's order for tomorrow's delivery, and placed an order for some JD Seasonings stuff.Dave took his first walk out of shielding today (dog walking doesn't count!) - he went to the co-op for milk.. they'll be no stopping him soon..lolI notice there's an afternoon of Carry On films on one of the sky channels, so shall watch them while writing a couple of letters and doing my cross stitch. 😄
Hope everyone has a nice Easter, and the weatheril improves for those that are having family round in the garden.🙂👍Mortgage Free as of 20.9.17Declutter challenge 2023, 2024 🏅 🏅⭐️⭐️

The weeks ebeast things are ending. lots to pay but £32 in my paypal so far with at least that much in bids still to finish over the next few days. I will get those packaged up later and posted tomorrow. I need to bobble to my mothers with her garden gift, her easter egg and some tins of stuff we were given but won't use.. they get shared between her and my sisters. I intend getting another box down tomorrow and listing it's contents, I have sold enough to empty a reusable supermarket bag.. the £1 ones not the 10p plastic ones lol, thats not a bad amount. I have to sort Squeaks clothes, she needs more trousers, I think I have some ut away from Moomin and Tiddles so they can come out of storage which will clear another space.
I wish I had energy to tidy my bedroom! I have a headache today, just hormonal stuff so I've snaffled pills and am hoping they work eventually.. I may just take more tbh, they should be working by now.
I have gammon for dinner tonight for the bigger beasts, OH and Pixie.. The others can have whatever I have they will eat. New potatoes or pasta and salad or veg.. perks of cooking for so many.. it isn't really a hardship catering to 2 needs because the quantities are large enough it is like catering .. I am incapable of doing a meal for 2 of us lol.
1am I yelled at the neighbour to turn off his music.. then I photographed the fly tipping other neighbours out the front and reported both lots to environmental health.. I need pics of the building waste left on the footpath a bit further up the street so I can report that too. I WILL improve my environment!! No one else seems to bother and I feel like a right Moaning Myrtle!

Pulled everything out from under our bed. There were tumbleweeds of dust. One pair of lovely but uncomfortable trainers listed on local site. I have spied a tub of knitting equipment that can be listed, I will just keep one set of needles.
DH has cleared a tub out as he said he wouldn’t want to move with it. Floor cleaned then some items put back. Bed changed.
Birds and squirrels fed.
Recycling taken out.

This morning Mr N and I resumed our lounge circuit training, we're a bit behind this week but both feeling we need bigger weights as he's using a couple of baked bean tins (full) wrapped in leg weights, and I've got little hand-held weights you're meant to use when running.
This afternoon I went to the meditation/prayer service a couple of villages away (our vicar has 3 villages to look after).
Came home and did the flowers, quite pleased but I won't say too much in case they all fall out overnight.
Mr N thinks he found a badger sett on one of our walks so we're about to dress up and go and skulk in a hedge at dusk.... have put a jacket potato in the range for him and some butternut for me, then we can quickly cook fish when we get back.
Have a good Easter everyone.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.10 -
Hope you had fun skulking Narco.Morning everyone. It's do nothing Saturday although I do need to change the sofa covers, keep up with dailies, walk the dogs and do a little council paperwork. Other than that I'll be knitting and reading, oh and watching football later.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.9 -
Morning 🙂
Well, yesterday I did absolutely nothing apart from get dressed and watch tv. My head was in a strange place - too all over the place to even sit and read.
This morning I was inclined to beat myself up about the waste of a day off. But would I speak to a friend like that? No. Will it change anything? No. It was a day of being and not doing. It's over. Today is a new day.🙂
I've made my bed and supped my first brew. Breakfast, brew 2, get dressed and then let's alternate doing and being until the dailies are done. Sounds like a plan.
Hope you all have a lovely day however you choose to spend it.

Round.. I too 'wasted' yesterday. I went to my mothers, drank tea, walked her dogs with her, had fish and chips my S-Dad bought (and complained it was £29 for 4 of us!) I took her some tinned fruit and tinned fish and an easter egg each and the elephant I got her for the garden, which may actually be staying in the house lol. either way.. It was a mental health and rest day.. sometimes we just need them. So long as it's not every day it's fine.
£35 more on ebeast today thus far, so I shall get everything packaged and send OH to the PO to fling.
Pixies bed is not fixable so I have ordered Moomin a 4ft bed with storage (the 3ft was out of stock and the cheapest available single cost more than the 4ft version of the cheaper 3ft one) so, Moomin can have the small double and Pixie can have Moomins current single which has a pull out guest bed.. I lose the storage in Pixies bed BUT that gives me a good reason to fling things and get rid of the stuffed gonks which are stored under there. One drawer will house Moomins clean bed covers and the other can hold her shoes and bags so they are not drooping all over the world. OH can put up the curtain pole.
That will empty a chest of drawers on the landing which can become home to the remaining bedding in the towel cupboard.. I need a new arrangement for the towels. I would like shelves but I think the cats might like them too and getting dry after a shower and sticking hair all over ourself in the process is not fun!
Still watching for that pillow cover on Dun£lm C&C.. I can't believe I was so stupid! I might get the normal pillow covers which are available on C&C.. *sigh*... It is never ending!
I have painted Moomins bedroom door, There are some bits which need filling now I can see them so I will do those once the paint is dry. I need to scrub the fireplace and get that repainted too, silver same as it is now I think. It has a few stains and marks otherwise I wouldn't bother. I will put the carpet down when we dismantle the bed and move it out.
OH can do lunch for the girls and I will go parcel ebeast stuff and get another box of gubbins out to list. Relisted 4 items which hadn't sold previously.
