I am here, but my focus over these holidays is frugalling not flying. I've set myself a mini challenge and am 100% determined! The DW is on, I ache all over having been busy in the garden and I have a glass of red. Sleep well ladies xx9

DM.. is it an allergy or is it stress? I get eczema when I am stressed.. it's SO itchy!! This place was a pit when we bought it.. needed floors replacing and the bathroom and the kitchen.. and a LOT of cleaning.. fortunately I had good company.. and then there was the decorating.. I LOVE decorating. Take some you time and process your thoughts.. you are like a whirlwind at the moment.. your body and mind and heart need to heal and rest. ((hugs))DW reloaded.. girls fed and ready for bed!trip to bnm was fun.. We got cat food which was out of stock everywhere else, that was a relief I was starting to get anxious they would starve. Teabags.. a huuuuge bag which will last a while. bath sponges (Dot eats them) and a new tablecloth covered in bees.. I can put my christmas one away now so that was needed too. I spent a whole £10 on trivial stuff we could live without but the odd luxury won't make our financial situation any worse I'm sure. I got my mother an elephant ornament for her garden. I don't do birthdays but I do buy silly little things when I see them and they make me think of that person. I will escape with that tomorrow. Thats me skint for the month now lol.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)7

Pigpen when we went on holiday once we came back to find a BNM chicken ornament in the middle of one of our raised beds. DS and GF saw it and just had to buy it. It is really silly and out of place but it makes me smile every time I see it.
Busy day at the paid stuff. Made the mistake of moaning about my workload and got told that I need another member of staff, which is possibly true, but I am anxious about ending up spending my whole time managing staff and sorting their problems rather than doing any of the enjoyable work stuff myself. Oh well thats work done until Tuesday.
20 mins HIIT and 20 minutes yoga so pleased with that. Healthy veggie shepherds pie for tea and no junk today. Not sure what tomorrow brings. Oh and DSs GF called yesterday with a big bunch of flowers and some chocolate for Easter. I flung my arms around her and hugged her before I remembered that I am not supposed to do that. It felt so good.10 -
Fairly busy day.
- Zoom lesson with student
- quick lunch before into town to collect the Easter lilies from the florist. Scary, it always feels like such a responsibility to do them even after all these years. I got them a bit smaller than usual as they are quite expensive, we weren't sure until very recently whether we were actually going into the church for Easter and needing it decorated so I've only used leftover donations from last year to buy them.
- went to drum lesson.
- back to car via Mr T to get the rest of the flowers, including those for my friend who now doesn't drive as she has dementia. She's been such a stalwart of the church as well as a good flower-loving friend, it seemed sad for her to be left out of the decorating so I took her the flowers and some oasis, wrote on her board when I'd be collecting the arrangement and sent her daughter a text in case G looks at the flowers and forgets what they are for. Came home, picked a load of foliage and put oasis in to soak. Now watching flower videos as I have an idea but need some technique!
The rock-like gf hot cross buns made a very acceptable bread and butter pudding, Mr N made it yesterday.
Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.8 -

Good evening!
I have just caught up on the thread. Hugs to those that need them. I haven't seen Fayolle post for a while - sending extra hugs to you if you are lurking.
Busy week with work. I managed to clear the summerhouse of cardboard (taken to the allotment) and it was tidied & de-webbed. The garden was then child ready, and has been well used this week. So nice to get outside in the sunshine! Even today was better than I thought it would be. It has been full on, with 4 children that I haven't seen for months, including the screamer 😱 He seems better now that he is walking, and only managed to pierce my ear drums once 😂
Dog walked with the children. Food bin & cat litter tray emptied before work, kitchen cleaned up this afternoon while DD2 was entertaining the children. DH then cooked dinner & trashed it, but thankfully cleaned up after dinner. WM has been put on a timer for the morning. My gardening jeans are in there, and I will need them this weekend! I have muck to spread & potatoes to bury. I also need to order 4 fence panels & some compost - NDN are going halves with the panels 😊 And I still haven't renewed my car insurance!!
Have a good weekend everyone! I need some zzzzz's now, and I must remember to turn off my alarm!7 -
ooh.. Naggy Nora.. I need to make a bloods appointment for Boog .. will see if they will do mine at the same time.. I need nagging because I can never be bothered to make the call.. I have no issue going or having bloods done but I just cannot be faffed ringing to make an appointment, it takes too much time. I need quack appointments for me x3 and Dot too.. but they are unlikely to ever materialise.

I need to list more.I need to speak to PDSA re Hazel. I think her kidneys are not as good as they should be and I'm fairly sure she has some sore teeth.. no way I'm looking she's a shark!
DD1 booked a smash and splash for Lionel for 12th May so that will be fun. the older 2 will be at school and OH and I are having Jazzles. I may volunteer OH to accompany us to the park.. that's a grandparenty thing right? By the time we've chased the pigeons, stroked a duck, scoffed an ice cream and vomited on the swings I'm sure DD1 will be done and we can pick her up.
DW been on twice.. first time full of pans and second it was almost every plate and dish we own! Just dinner pots to go in tomorrow now.Paid some bills..LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)6 -

Oh isn't not going to work delicious? I love being at home. I'm up, my bed is made and first brew supped. Brew 2 and breakfast next- then I'll get dressed and write a list.

Morning
The male pheasants have been fighting, one of them is now the dominant one, he has been ‘busy’ with the females right next to my fence.
Daily stuff done
Table cloth washed as cat threw up on it………….
Not a lot going on here today, it is grey cold and over cast, heating is back on low, I had turned it off until the winter
May hoover out the car later but not too keen on that idea.
Have a great day.

Narco, that is a lovely thing to do for your friend with dementia.I didn't feel up to much yesterday - I do wish I had more stamina. I've recently realised that when the oximeter is showing low readings it means I've probably got an underlying problem. The ear infection earlier last year gave me some low readings and they were low again for about six weeks recently - abscess under a tooth. Now that's cleared up my levels are 99 - 100%. Now that I know low levels aren't because I'm unfit, it's because there's an underlying problem, I'll be taking it more seriously.I'm going to see if I can get rid of some purple sprouting broccoli plants that I think have finished cropping but I need to see if I can cram the plants into a neighbour's garden waste bin as ours is full to bursting. That'll give me some space in the yard to do some work on other plants. Shuffling all the pots around is tiring in itself and I need a serious declutter out there.Managed to get the Food file into some semblance of order yesterday, so I can go up to the attic and get the rest of the Food stuff down to sort. Another drawer emptied will be very, very satisfying. But first - vacuuming. The only thing I dislike about the kittens (over three years old now!) using wood shavings in their litter trays is they do tramp it around a bit but it composts beautifully and costs peanuts in comparison to cat litter. However, it's been a few days and we now have tiny wood savings all over the house.Better is good enough.7
