Evening all, not a lot to say about today really. I didn't do a lot apart from hoovering the upstairs landing/stairs and rooms upstairs. And hanging the washing on the line outside...Dave brought it in for me as I'd taken myself upstairs for a snooze in the afternoon 😆
Folded up dry washing and put away where it should be (cupboards, wardrobe, airing cupboard or ironing pile)
Had a lovely slimming meal tonight - made up a sauce to cook the chicken thighs in - soy sauce, honey, ground ginger, garlic puree and black pepper. Roasted the veggies and mashed potato put through my electric masher (no need for butter or anything..) Definitely a winner 🙂
Now going to have a lazy evening as the headache has just started to let me know it's still there. Xxx

All junk mail/mail opened, sorted. Envelope windows cut out and added to bin. Pile on stairs to go up for shredding. Just need to empty kitchen bin and put black bin out.
All stuff back in shed. Roof almost all dried out- floor not dry yet but I'm sure it will.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Feeling the effects of yesterday's run and walk, followed by a night in the WAC. Had intended to do a lot today as Mr N was going out for a motorbike ride with his mates - decided that as it was the first long run for ages, he'd be best solo with me checking WhatsApp every few minutes to see how far they'd gone!
- did a load of washing up
- did a bathroom blitz
- did a bit of a report
- wrote and posted Easter cards
- drum practice
- put away clean dry clothesRemember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.8 -
Morning all x
I’m up early and am tackling the shelves of doom. I have got slightly overwhelmed with all the paperwork plates I’m spinning at the moment so having a filing session. I have to walk to DG’s house for another estate agent visit. We are seriously considering buying it. It is 3 bed semi and we are in a 2 bed terrace at the moment.
Have a lovely day, see you soon x7 -
Dancemum, surely you / family already own the house even if not all of it you own part of it, I would go for it, then sell yours.Sun is up, cat has been pestering around since 4am, in the end I shut him in the kitchen with access to the cat flaps if he wanted to go out, he is now fed and curled up on the table!!OH has an eye test in a bit, so I may go with him and wander around the streets / sea path while I wait for him.Have a good day xBreast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

Kaz DG’s house is being left to me and my 2 sisters. So if we can agree a price we can just about do it if we sell ours. DG’s needs a lot of work.

Hello, it's very quiet here today. Hope you're all ok.
I spent the morning hemming a dress and a tablecloth. I've also done some knitting.Spend less now, work less later.7 -
Still quiet! I spent an hour sorting through old paperwork so now have a pile of shredding to do. Have also had a long walk with the dogs. And eaten lots of cherry pieSpend less now, work less later.8

Piggers They say buy the worst house in a street don’t they. I have just have to work out how much the buying and selling expenses are.
Today’s EA gave higher valuations but didn’t mention any faults like the lowest one.
Walked to DG’s (looked at lots of front doors on the way to see what I like) washed some glassware. DH collected me and I brought him home. I then went to meet my bestie on a bench for a coffee. I froze, so much difference to yesterday’s temperatures.
I got to go into Mr W’s and may have bought some sensitive skin cleanser from Mr WinterShoes as I have had an allergic rash most days since my Mum died.9
