Morning all
Well done Mr Valli!
Back at the paid stuff yesterday and an unexpected problem, so almost 10 hours done. Dont you worry though, I will be taking the extra in lieu. In the office again today as my Assistant is on holiday so I am covering her job as well.
No flying done to speak of, but the house is reasonably OK.
I put a pair of trousers on for work yesterday that I havent worn for ages and felt fat. I have to try and shift this extra weight so I am being very strict with myself - weights class done already this morning.
Got to get ready for the paid stuff, catch you all later x

Fab day here, shame I have to work Lol! Anyway, dailies are done, wm x 1 swished and out on the line, ground floor hoovered, litter trays emptied, washed and refilled, en suite swished over, windows open to let the lovely spring air in.
Have a lovely day, hugs for those in need x9 -
Thank you for the new thread ValliAfternoon all, what a gorgeous day today is. I have one load of washing on the line and another load going around the machine. I'm hoping that I can get it out later this afternoon.I have a shepherd's pie to make later so that it's ready to eat after my SW zoom call later. Dave can pop it in the oven halfway through my zoom - well that's the plan whether he does it is to be seen..lolAm going to dust the living room surfaces in a bit, then do a bit of packing of a box. I've lapsed with my box packing at the moment..🙄Getting a bit twitchy about restrictions being lifted and more people being out and about - it was ok when everyone was only allowed out for essential stuff/excercise I felt perfectly ok. Oh well back to my normality of doing exactly what I have been doing..lol Just everyone else was doing what I did normally. 😄Right this won't get the dusting done - painkillers first for this blooming headache though....Mortgage Free as of 20.9.17Declutter challenge 2023, 2024 🏅 🏅⭐️⭐️

Just going to do a bit of tidying as I'm off to work shortly.
So blowy I have washing on the line, I think I'll leave out it while I'm at work.
DS has been promoted to Assistant Manager and has moved branches. He's working in the next postcode district to me...I have let him know this. I am, however, not permitted to rock up there (insert rolling on floor smily). Proud mama moment. Also he's given up the fags - so doubly proud.Mortgage Free as of 20.9.17Declutter challenge 2023, 2024 🏅 🏅⭐️⭐️

At my desk earning a crust. Eating a crust too as it happens. Made my bed fed the birds, showered and washed hair before I set off.
Had my second dose of the vaccine this morning and I've got everything crossed that I have no more reaction than a sore arm (the same as the first time).
Enjoy the sunshine if you can.

Thank you for the lists Valli and Natty. Well done and congratulations to Master Valli. Glad to hear Mr Ionafan is home safe and well. It's been a furiously busy few days here and I'm lagging a long way behind where I wanted to be but that can't be helped. I'm doing as much as I can and have started doing jobs that take a minute or less as I come across them which means I'm procrastinating a lot less, which helps. Things are looking a bit better but I do so wish I had more time and energy! Today I must deal with some gardening.I was in two minds about posting this, and did so and then deleted it, then saw Valli's comment and now think I should put it back in. So, here goes. A lovely woman I've been following on social media for quite a while committed suicide on Friday last week. She was kind, adventurous and a beautiful soul, and it was not a cry for help. She was loved, came from a happy family and was in a stable very loving relationship. She appeared to have everything going for her but even that wasn't enough to get her through her illness. Her family and those that knew her have asked others to reach out to let someone know if they're overwhelmed by things. Please know that you are never alone, there is always someone who cares about you, but they may not know what you are going through.
Better is good enough.10 -
Aww Honey Bear - well said, actually. I've got a friend ill in that way atm; while I want to be as supportive as I can my work bestie has cautioned that I don't grind myself down. She was supposed to be being assessed by a MH team; I hope that has happened and I'm planning on seeing her on Thursday.
Shed men arrived while I was still emptying, but I had done enough, so the new roof is almost
finished. Benn out twice with coffee.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
