The waiting time for an assessment has extended quite a lot since my daughter had her work capability assessment. Some are waiting a year, yes a whole year. It does depend on backlog in your area though.
    Hi Poppy

UC app ongoing since 25/03/21 though I didn't get Fit notes until md summer.
Today UC have advised  that paper work assessment questionnaire is being sent, before they determine if an actual assessment in person is required.

Not sure what happens next, I've been through lots of medical support etc, does that count as I only exercises at home now since physio sessions etc inc' ATW were complete in recent years.

I suspect my written assessment is going to mean repeating what I've already been 'assessed' on by various support groups.

    thanks

If you have been under medical supervision in the past but aren't now, you can include that and explain why you are no longer.  That would most likely fit best in the extra information unless any aspect of it turns out to be relevant to the activities/criteria.

AtW is definitely relevant to functioning at work.

I really can't remember whether the criteria have been linked in this thread already or not but you should make sure to read up in preparation if you haven't already.

There is also an ESA/WCA handbook but it is a looooong read, quite depressing and to me it was not nearly as helpful as the PIP assessment guidance is.

    @Spoonie_Turtle

thanks, m.s. tests are continuous particularly since 2017.
ATW was with previous Employers before Jan 21' redundancy, my concern is that I or latest Employers
don't have access to their report and work recommendation's.

    thanks for the lnks

For some areas you can increase that to about a year, yes it's crazy i know but the backlogs are extremely huge.

    Workcoach is not required.
I've been Light Touched -is this10 yearly PIP review.
Does this potentially effect UC LCWRA application.

    thanks

No, Light Touch is because you're 'earning enough' so they can't require you to look for more work.
    https://www.uceplus.co.uk/commitments

It does mean you're currently in the All Work-Related Requirements group so they've not awarded you LCW/RA yet.  If they assess you as having either LCW or LCWRA you'll be taken out of the AWWR group and put in whichever one is appropriate.  But you can still work, it would mean you wouldn't be sanctioned if you have to reduce or stop work and they wouldn't expect you to look for work either.  You'll also get the work allowance and keep more of your earnings if they assess you as having LCW/RA.

I think once next few months is over, I'll get idea if I can potentially reduce to 16/16.5 hours per week.
Though 20 hours is Manageable for time being.

    Thanks appreciated.
