Setting out my aims for the month
Diamonds
Debts first: Only have BTL mtge - and yesterday we exchanged on selling the property, so hopefully this will be cleared completely next week - whoop!!!!!!!
Income enhancement: will list some things on flebay and fb00k marketplace over the holidays. Have a job app to do over the hols, too.
Achievements and Aims: Getting the property sale completed is my main thing - has been SSTC since early Aug 2020 and there is no chain... the buyers have been delaying and delaying... Getting that all done & dusted and paperwork sorted is a priority. Also getting paperwork together during the month for 2 x tax returns (DH & I) for tax year 2020/21 - won't have it all. but as much as possible sorted would be good
Morning motivation: Will mentally set an aim for that day each morning - eg: exercise, gardening task etc
Organised: we have eldest son's 21st. Also need to buy DH a new car (he wrote his off this week) 2 weeks of school hols will mean some spends, even though we have no real plans. Also collecting DS1 from uni. And have fencing being replaced and hopefully some electrical work being done... an expensive month!!
NSDs: I rarely keep track after the first week.....
Determined: This month I am determined to get eating and exercise back on track!
Set out your stall:
Daisies
Delight: Will definitely delight in the 4 day weekend, the light evenings, the school holidays, line dried laundry, my eldest boy turning 21, being able to see friends outside
, the flowers in the garden
April: What treasures can you open up to this April? A relaxed couple of weeks off school/ work, hopefully! Time to be
Inner-peace: find space for you. ok. Energy levels are crazily low - need to recharge and check iron again
Stay safe, and stay sassy! Keep to the restriction rules, whilst being lively and spirited. - definitely!!
Inspiration: Will give this some thought
Exercise: yep
Share: a smile, a kind word, whatever you can give, lift people up and feel the love. Donate if you can. - yep

Glad to have finished work for the hols - did some extra hours this week. Have seen so many tired teachers and support staff this week - it's been a long term for them all (and all you educational turtles XX) - and the hols don't seem to be a 'proper' break for them this time around more than usual

NSD No 1
Budget done and charity donations and donation to local foodbank made. Only 1 birthday this month. Present and card already bought as are the Easter eggs.
It was cold and windy this morning but I put on my gloves, scarf and wooly hat and went for a walk locally to look at the lovely gardens. Just two miles but it's a start. There are not many parks close by to go to. No alcohol or snacking today and a healthy salad for lunch and baked potato for dinner.
Made a list. Haven't done everything but it was a bit ambitious.
Should finish my current book tonight and then I can start another one.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.6 -

A great start to the month, managed to do an online exercise class before work, paint my fingernails (only the second time in over 20 years that this has been done!!) & eaten healthily all day. Stood on the scales before breakfast, lighter than I've been for a while, 11st 9lb. By telling you all, I'm hoping it will give me some encouragement to lose some weight.
A beautiful sunny day, though the slight breeze was a bit nippy. Hoping that the snow doesn't arrive on Sunday, I work in a school & I'm looking forward to some time in the garden! Going for a walk with a friend after tea too. Hope you've all had a great day!Use it up, wear it out
Make do or do without!
If you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours 😃

NSD1 in the bag, volunteering done, week off starts here - woo hoo! Happy long weekend everybody. Was considering spending money, but realised I had left my purse on the sofa, so I was saved! Might be a ploy for the future. Also we finished a jar of D.E coffee at work, so I scored a free jar for the pantry - yay4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Today I am grateful for a morning trot, for chocolate/Easter stuff shopping with dd, for getting 2 wonderful items from a ch shop (the door was open, we were just looking in the window, and the manager came out for a chat and said he'd get us anything we wanted, so I did!!), for getting the climbing frame up and over the fences to a neighbour's garden, for 85% + 95% choc!

hi
NSD #1 achieved. Had a nice walk at lunchtime. Have done quite a bit of my qualification and colleague helped me with some bits i was struggling with. Plumber came out and all he needed to do was switch shower on and water came gushing out!! It has always been temperamental so perhaps it just needed a long rest (me tooHe said no point fitting a new one so i will hope it keeps working.....
Did pilates class via Fb this eve with fairy lights on and lavendar candle, was relaxing and tried to focus on moves and breathing rather than my 'to do' list.
Waiting for tea to cook, eaten well except for the celebration daim mini eggs in honour of not needing to buy a new shower just yet ....
gratitudes - helpful colleague, helpful plumber, great pilates teacher

NSD 1. Income - very unexpected but received a survey in the post and there was a pack of 6 first class stamps with it 'for my time'. Digging done. Been creative - had some attractively shaped pop bottles (cheapest option). This afternoon I cut ovals in the middle at the side - going to paint them and make bird feeders. Food was finishing off pasta bake and beef curry made earlier in the week - variety of fish available for tomorrow. Had a second shower (after digging and lugging buckets of soil about), used a hot flannel on my face (will steam once a month but this got any fine dust off me) and applied moisturiser liberally to any parts that need it. Eyedrops done. Found hayfever tablets again. Phone finally charged up. Tidied my bookshelves.
Grateful for the arrival of one of the books I ordered, getting through the digging (phase one of the project), easy and tasty food.My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage4 -
