Congrats on the new job @Shrewbie
Well done on reaching 17 days @facethemusic
And can’t wait to start April’s NST challenge. Thanks @DrCarrie
Yesterday was NSD 10/17. I had a hospital appointment for a dodgy ear. It took all my willpower to not visit Old McDonald for a burger on my way home. I kept reminding myself that I’d spoil my NSD if I did. NST 1 McD 0.
Today, however, I will be picking up DS’s birthday present and buying some extra bits and pieces to decorate for the day. I’m really keen to use paper decorations rather than balloons etc. Going to see if there’s any craft videos on ytube showing how to make decorations.
Grateful for the NHS, for willpower, for the rain which is hopefully going to reinvigorate my hydrangea.

Sorry turtles. Just realised I posted in my update in April’s thread. Clearly I was still half asleep!
@apple_muncher - they don’t quite know what’s wrong with my ear. Slight hearing loss, tinnitus, and regular infections. It’s possibly damage from the surgery and radiotherapy I’ve had to my brain to remove a malignant brain tumour a few years ago. Just another consequence to add to my list of health issues but I’m still alive.
I really should be adding ‘Grateful to be alive and for the NHS’ in every single NST update! 😁
