I’ve been contacted by hsbc today to request info I have given over a week ago. I expressed my frustration and explained it wasn’t professional to lose information like this. They said it would be quicker to upload it again as the case handler has my file in her hand and they assured me it wouldn’t get put back in a que it will be looked at right away. I’m beyond mad at them right now

@Tashco did you apply to HSBC direct? Our broker done this to us as well. He said HSBC asked for some documents and I had already sent them to him. So he argued they didn’t have them til I forwarded the emails from the company confirming receipt of the documents. Funnily enough they turned up!

How annoying and worrying Since they say they will look at it straight away, hopefully that means you will hear news soon! I'm so worried nowadays. I don't want to badger my broker all the time but honestly the wait is killing me.

@AilieG01 I applied direct on my own as I work at a bank so knew I had everything I needed and technically had advice but not from HSBC. I just resent them to speed it up rather than waiting for them to fine them. 

@666666 the waiting is horrible, I’ve done nothing but worry for the last 2 weeks, I’m hoping they do hurry up. I wouldn’t worry about badgering anyone I’ve phoned HSBC every single day I’m so impatient lol.  When did you submit your application?

@Tashco - this happened to me. They requested the documents I already sent them previously to prove income. Was a little annoying to say the least. I got my offer in the end.

@Tashco my application went in on the 27th Jan and Valuation was done on the 1st Feb, they asked extra bank statement on the 7th Feb and then nothing ...

@666666 my valuation isn’t even until 21st but I’m hoping to have an offer subject to valuation before that to be honest

FYI re: valuation - I didn't even get informed of one happening, let alone the date. Must've been a desktop one. It's now clear to me I wasn't informed of all of the steps in between the application being submitted and the offer being granted. The re-submission of income documents was the only thing that happened.
