The hinges would be exposed, but on the 5 or 7 point locking doors, you would have to use some pretty decent force to pull a door at the right angle to bend the locks out of the metal frame they go into.  The locks are also hooks (well some are) so they are unlikely to pop out as easily.
Isn't there doors with even more locking points, where they have bolts centre top and centre bottom, which would make it all but impossible to remove the door like that.  Most burglars would probably just smash your window.
The police just cut them with Stihl saws.

Chubb hinge bolts are another solution.
Thank you, tried to google them but not clear what they look like. Can you provide a link please?
    Look for Chubb WS12
Thank you, i'm not sure if those hinges would hold a heavey rock door.
They’re not hinges. They hold the door in the frame if the hinges are disabled.
Thanks you for clarifying....will buy and try to fit when I get the rock door installed, thank you so much. Hopefully it won't be difficult and would be possible.
I would get the door fitters to fit them.

Are you sure that the door locks don’t bolt the hinge side?
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?
