There are lots of reasons why inward-opening is much preferable, and the least of these (on a modern door) is security.
Are you saying your hallway is actually too small for a door to swing in to?
YES, it is a very small area and with the door opening outwards will make our life much easier

Chubb hinge bolts are another solution.
Thank you, tried to google them but not clear what they look like. Can you provide a link please?

What about 2 half width doors? Inwards or outwards, one in, one out?

Whichever door you get, you’ll want to be able to see who is standing there before opening it. So you’re going to need a door viewer or a pane of glass in the door.

A really strong security chain would be helpful too.

Thank you, i'm not sure if those hinges would hold a heavey rock door.

The hallway in our last house was 800X800 with an inwards opening front door. I must admit it never occurred to me to change it, we simply never put anything in the way. Is the problem the direction it opens and is it possible to put the hinges on the other side?

Currently living somewhere with an outward-opening door, although I think it's reasonably obvious we have had the occasional delivery leaving parcels against the door.

They’re not hinges. They hold the door in the frame if the hinges are disabled.
