Morning,
Updating today, as I doubt I'll get chance tomorrow (DH WFH) and a busy weekend coming up.
I've had quite a good week this week and managed to tackle quite a few things.
There is talk that now things are opening up, people will be required to go back to site, but those of us that are suited to WFH, will be able to carry on. As there is no space on site for me or my team, we will carry on as normal and just meet up in the office once a week.
The washer turned up yesterday, as I was out getting DS from the station. DD dealt with it and they installed and removed the old one. They even set it going on a 30 min clean wash for me. We got it from a local place and they always provide a great service. How sad is it that I like my new washer? lol
I picked DH up from the station about 8pm, he was slightly inebriatedbut he seemed to have had a good night and he didn't spend a penny as it was a subcontractor that took them out (result!).
Things for the weekend:- Our Anniversary on Saturday (17 years)
- 15 Mile walk on Sunday, but I may opt for the 10 mile depending on the weather
- Change our bed and clean our bedroom
- Get the kids to change their beds
- Other housework bits
- Put the DW on a clean wash
- Hoover out the TD
- Unpack and repack the freezer
- Gym session
- Visit to town for veg and bits
- Food shop
I've had a look at both routes for my walk on Sunday and if the weather is naff, I think walking boots and waterproofs will be a must!4 -
Good luck with your walk on Sunday, it's a shame the weather is set to be a bit pants... and congratulations on your anniversary, ours is next month
I hope you manage to celebrate it despite prepping for the walk.

Can't believe that it's 17 years, it's gone quick. I think we may be going to the local for a beer or twox

Well, however you celebrate, enjoy! It's lovely to be back in the local pub again isn't it? Hope the weather holds out for your weekend plans. We missed our silver wedding anniversary plans last year due to lockdown so I'm hoping the weather picks up for this year's in June and we can at least have a day by the sea. Think I have only put washing out once or twice this year and its the middle of May.4

Hope you have a lovely weekend despite the weather, happy anniversary!!
Definitely not sad about liking your washing machine, I can't wait until our shed arrives - I got even more excited the other day when I got an email saying it will be delivered 2 weeks earlier than planned!
Busy weekend ahead, make sure you take time to celebrate and relax.

You've not posted for a bit. I'm not surprised after a 15 mile walk!If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them
