  • I do Team TOMM to keep on top of the housework, makes such a difference to do a little each day.

I also do Team TOMM and I can't tell you what a difference it made to my mental health... on top of freeing up the weekends!

We're the same with the tumble drier too, I love hanging the washing out to dry, fingers crossed for some decent weather soon x
Same here... fed up of the tumbler now and can't wait for the 'fresh off the line' smell... thinking back to this time last year there was quite a difference in the weather!  I'm getting quite sick of the rain, and my dog won't go out in it... :D

Me too, despite DH complaining of 'rock hard clothes' lol

I can't say I blame your pooch, I hate going out in the rain too.
  • Afternoon,

Happy Hump Day!  Hope everyone is ok today?

I've just been reading over one of my old diaries, I can't believe how far we have come in our debt travels and that alone has given me motivation to get rid of this thing.

DD has a Guides Zoom call this evening, the last two weeks they've met up outside but as the weather is dire, her Leader has changed tonight's.

DH is off out after work for a couple of drinks to celebrate getting PC on one of the projects they've done, after all the late nights etc, I think they've earned it.

DH & I went to our local last night, it felt really strange being back in there again but it was nice to see the staff and say hello.

Waiting to hear when the washer will arrive, I'm hoping it'll be soon (fingers crossed!)

Put some diesel in DH's car this morning and bought a few bits from Tesco for dinner tonight, only 1 NSD so far this week.

Did a bit of Flyladying this morning and have made our bed.

DH put his expenses in and if all is well and gets approved, we'll have £114.10 to come back, I think he got fed up of me nagging him (his excuse was it's a new system and he needs help *Need roll eyes emoji*) £50 I'll pay off the Lloyds card and the rest we can have a treat with, probably a takeaway or something.

DH renewed his pre-payment card for his prescriptions, so although a chunk paid, it's worth it in the long run for him.

We're having taco's for dinner tonight, it's easier with Guides/DH out.

9 days until Pay Day :)

I'm going to stop stressing about 'Goals' for the month and concentrate on getting the debt under control and our finances during the month.  I think that is why I'm constantly failing at them at the moment and in turn I lose motivation.  I will post Weekly Goals, as I still need them.

    Happy anniversary pmo2 😼💐
    Hope celebration goes well .🍾🥂
Congratulations on passing your probation . It was obvious you would .
Sorry to hear abiotic the washing machine 🧺 . Still, the emergency fund came in handy
You seem to be in control of things , and  things seem to be going in 5he right direction .🤞
Regarding hubby's medication💊 , has he checked to see that he is exempt for paying ?
The only reason I ask, is that I was paying for a few months until my sister pointed out that I may be exempt ..and I am !  I found out 2nd hand so to speak . I was annoyed 😾
    Anyway , keep going ..

    Thanks AC.

We did check it out but unfortunately he's not, it would've been good if he was.

No washer just yet, I really hope it comes soon.

I found that I had to stop stressing about too many goals and now I’m just happy that PADding helps me clear the debt quicker.  Sometimes, if you try and do too much it seems overwhelming and you can end up not carrying on

Glad you are still going to post your weekly goals. They are motivating to readers too.
Well done on passing your probation and for having an EF when an emergency arose :)
