Painting a rental property all the same colour. Good v bad idea?

Its the first time I've had a change of tenant and I need to refresh the house painting wise.
What I wondered was if it was best painting every part of the interior the same colour (light grey).
Doors, woodwork ceilings etc all would be white however every room in the house would be exactly the same. Or should i go darker greys in some rooms?
Thanks

Normally rental properties are painted a wonderful magnolia. I lived in one for 3 half years, will never be able to bear magnolia again lol.
Personally I'd advise painting all the house the same colour so touch ups and repainting can be more easily done in future. But bear in mind not everyone likes grey, it can darken a house, fine if the property gets plenty of light but not if its a dark property.7 -
I would say YES please. I'm sick of painting beige and magnolia walls grey. You can get lighter more muted greys with tones of purple/blue which make it look sometimes more lilac than grey (but not sickly pastel lilac purple).

Don’t forget to leave any leftover paint with the tenants so they can do any touch ups if necessary.6

Thanks folks one colour looks best bet.0

Paint it all white, much easier/cheaper for touching up/refreshing later on and while it is a bit clinical people can add colour with their own stuff.5

When we moved into our over 60s HA house it had been repainted in magnolia and new carpets throughout. We had been offered a choice of carpets and were asked if we were happy with magnolia. As we have some beautiful pictures to hang up we were more than happy with the latter.0

OP, yes one colour as you suggested or white if it has dark areas/rooms. Then dark laminate floors. Easier to look after IMO. Mot of the people I work with rent privaet and often walls are white, laminate flooring and easy to clean, dark carpet on stairs/landing.0

No more grey. People can't seem to pick greys with any element of warmth to them, so you just wind up with miserable, soul-less steel greys which do nothing positive for anyone's state of mind.Ideally, I'd choose something that goes with everything and I'd also take it up over the ceilings, because no one notices when it isn't white and it saves a lot of cutting in. Dulux Egyptian Cotton is that sort of colour. Otherwise white, I guess, but it isn't very forgiving.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.
