Hi guys, just thought I’d pop up our timeline for those interested. I know it helped me see others on here and to process things somewhat!😁

    DIP - 19/3
Offer accepted on house - 27/3
    Full application submitted - 30/3
    Valuation requested - 20/4
    Further documents requested - 22/4
    Valuation completed - 29/4
    Offer - 5/5

So from full application to offer approx 5 weeks!

You must be so relieved. Our 2nd application took 4 weeks from application to offer but they already had all the information ready for that one 🤣 I will post the full timeline at some point.

Another day of waiting for my solicitor to get in touch today. Phone call tomorrow if I haven't heard anything! So excited to see the house again Sunday!

I may as well do my timeline too!
    DIP - 1/4 - Referred and approved 2/4
Offer accepted - 3/4 - then gazumped and higher offer accepted 4/4
Mortgage appointment and review with broker on 12/4 - Aldermore confirm higher offer doesen't need re-run of DIP. Due to work commitments we had no free time to catch out broker hence the long wait between offer and application going in.
    Full application in 17/4
Additional documents requested - 22/4 (direct debit mandate which tbh was my fault!)
Additional documents requested 30/4 (payslip from new job)
    Valuation instructed 30/4
    Waiting on valuation now

Oh the waiting!! It drives you mad doesn’t it. We are estimating about 8 weeks? No idea if that’s reasonable or not.
oh wow, bet you’re so excited to view again. We will have to at some point to measure for certain things - super excited! Let’s hope your solicitor has pulled their finger out!👍🏻👍🏻

Oh god it does. They started the process on 1st April according to my tracker, that's when they sent off for searches. It's says contract pack recieved 15th April, enquiries sent to seller 15th April, searches back 23rd April. Although apparently one is outstanding! Why is this process so long 🤣🤣🤣

Just found out there's a severe backlog with valuations from Aldermore's surveyors in my part of the world, so the earliest appointment they have is 11th May - so more waiting!!

Oh no! At least you've had an update and it's only next week :)
I think i fell super lucky with my valuation as it was the day after it was instructed apparently, although I'm in the North West and the surveyor was from St Albans! Must've been in the area and had a spare hour! x
