Just wondering whether anyone had to serve notice (eg 30 days) with their previous provider and now funds transferred to Nationwide.

If so, what investment date is shown on your ISA certificate - date of funds received by Nationwide or application date?

If it shows funds received and maturity is 18 months from that date, I think I'd be fine with that.  I suppose it wouldn't be the case if in 18 months time it meant that I would miss out on a decent deal though!

Yes I was told a completion date of 9 June this morning too - they've got my transfer from Halifax (still nothing showing online!) but have yet to sort out the internal transfer from Nationwide....   :o

The certificate does not have an Investment Date mentioned on it, just a Date ISA Started.

Mine shows date of my application in March 2021.

My previous ISA matured end of April 2021 and funds were credited to my ISA at the end of April.

My deal expires 18 months from my application date in March, so September 2022.

Will not be getting 18 months worth of interest then, in my opinion.

Have received nothing in writing to confirm exactly how much interest I am forecast to receive, or confirming date upon which interest is earned.

I applied for this on 3rd April and obviously like everyone else have been waiting in the interminable queue to reach my turn in the queue for it to be dealt with.  During that time I had the letter with the ISA declaration that said it was taken from THIS year's allowance.  I have spent hours on the phone being assured this would be okay.  Now the blasted account has appeared (including the transfer that they have had for weeks) but start date 6th April!!!!  The "complaint" I had registered regarding the late opening (like where's my money guys?) will be answered on 8th June, maybe.  But the wrong start date and no written confirmation that it was last year's allowance.  I am beyond angry.  I have been with NW for around 30 years....

3rd April was the Saturday of a four-day Easter bank holiday weekend and the first banking day thereafter was indeed in the new tax year, so anyone hoping to use 2020/21 allowances (for new money) starting from that weekend had probably left it too late, although if you have any evidence that Nationwide suggested otherwise then that might help....
