To answer the interest question - you will (obviously) continue to earn whatever interest you are getting on your old ISA up to the date it is transferred to NWide.
In addition, you will (should!) get interest from NWide at 0.75% on the transferred balance from the date you submitted the application to Nationwide.
So yes, double interest.0 -
Those who've had their ISA balance transferred from anpther provider, could you confirm what (investment) date is reflected on your account? Is it the date of application or date funds received?0
-
Start date is application date.
Funds visible day they appear, i.e. no back-dating.0 -
So how does Nationwide confirm your start date?Confirmed in writing / letter?Or investment date shown on ISA certificate or similar?0
-
This is what you (eventually!) get - personal bits blanked out:

Well, my current provider has notified me that they've received Nationwide's request and that I now need to serve my notice. However, should I have already / be expecting a progress update (text?) from Nationwide too?Can those who had to serve notice share your experiences please?0

My 'transfer in' was sent to Nationwide by my old provider on 20th April, (had confirmation of this from old provider). Heard zilch from Nationwide since!!! Have been in contact with NW by the secure message thingy but they just said there was a backlog and it would be dealt with eventually. I would just like to know where my money actually is and when it is all going to be sorted out.
Anyone else having problems with the mobile app? I have to reboot my phone a couple of times to get the app to open then have to reload the app several times to get it to work. What a pain the whole business is!!

For info... no issues here with the NW banking app - that's on a Pixel 2 running Android 9. The app loads in about 5 seconds (including the fingerprint log-in) and it's never crashed.Miró said:Anyone else having problems with the mobile app?
