Employer to deduct months worth of parking invoices when they have had conf of refund

That's puzzled me since you mentioned Alphabet as the lease company. Do you actually mean Euro Car Parks? (Although that wouldn't make sense if the PCNs were from Parking Eye).FuzzyDuck1 said:Coupon-Mad
Thank you. I have no proof at the moment that PE haven’t paid back to Nexus (5 of them) and Europcar (the other one) as they were the companies who paid PE, then Invoiced Alphabet incl an admin charge. Alphabet (who my employer has their contract with) then invoiced my company with a further Admin Fee. As far as I am aware, my employer (Fleet manager) should be liaising with Alphabet to get them to speak to both Nexus and Europcar to investigate any refund that’s been received by them. I can see the general consensus on PPC’s isn’t a good one, but reporting them to BPA when they may have refunded within the 28 days may be a little unfair if in fact they have refunded as promised. Please let me know if you agree or disagree and will take it from there. Thank you so much for your help x
If there's only a single car involved (your company car, leased from Alphabet), and a single location (where your wife works), with PCNs from a single PPC (Parking Eye), how do Nexus and Europcar fit into the mix?Jenni x2 -
Thank you. I’ll pm you with the details this evening.Coupon-mad said:
I would put the enquiry in such a way as to point out the effect on you and seek reassurance that these refunds have been paid, and when. Then you can use the reply to show Alphabet. I wouldn't go in all guns blazing but I do have a BPA contact for unusual cases that concern me, and yours is one.FuzzyDuck1 said:Coupon-Mad

And you could then still dispute and raise to the BVRLA ADR, the 'admin fees' that Alphabet have added on, because they must represent the cost of them paying which can't possibly be over £200.1 -
Hi Jenni, the PCN was sent to registered keeper (which is another company name that is not Nexus, or Europcar or Alphabet!). Nexus first invoiced Alphabet with the “parking offence” as they called it of £x amount and added £x amount of “admin fees”. Alphabet then sent their invoice to my employer with their Admin fee (£42 incl VAT -they took a higher admin fee than nexus ). With the invoice addressed to my employer, Alphabet sent the PCN’s from PE along with the original invoice billed to Alphabet from Nexus. So this is why I can see a chain of companies involved.Jenni_D said:

Jenni just realised what you meant... had one car (the one on the nexus invoices) that had a fault so went back for few days to fix and then had a Europcar vehicle until the original company car came back. Hope that explains?2 -
Frankly , I dread to think what would happen if the driver picked up a speeding notice on a motorway , or a dart charge , or a congestion charge in London , or bus lane violations
The minefield and obfuscation of this chain beggars belief !
It would be even worse if Group Nexus had issued those PCN s and not Parking Eye4 -
Yes it does, thanks.FuzzyDuck1 said:
