Employer to deduct months worth of parking invoices when they have had conf of refund

-
You could email info@parkingeye.co.uk and ask how long the refunds will take. Attach proof that you are the lessee and that the registered keeper is trying to charge you money that ParkingEye promised to refund in January. You'd have to quote each and every PCN number so you'd need those refs.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Yes a 3rd party (my wife) was driving the vehicle on the weekend (I work Monday -Friday) and my wife is insured to drive the company vehicle.Half_way said:Its is absolutely, vitally important that you do not call these things fines and even more so when dealing with lease company's employers and so on this can not be stressed enoughPlease let us know if the following is correct:- A third party was driving the vehicle at the time, and parked at the Range.
- Despite the fact that this person had permission to park at the range the vehicle still received "parking charge notices" from Parking eye
- Parking charge notices were issued by Parking eye to the lease hire company
- The lease/hire company then paid these parking charge notices and referred to them as "fines" then passed on these charges, calling them fines to your employer
- Your employer then deducted them from your wages
Is that correct???And are you now out of pocket as a result of this action?Next stage: what is the name of the lease/hire company for the company vehicle? this may help as some hire/lease company's have cropped up on here in the past - both in a good light and badand the killer question : What are the exact terms and conditions that is word for word for the use of the vehicle?Yes parking eye issued the tickets to the lease hire company
The lease hire company paid the tickets to parking eye then billed my employer for the tickets plus an admin fee on all 6 of the tickets. My employer hasn’t yet deducted these amounts from my wages but I have had notification via email that this is what they are doing to start in this months pay run.The lease hire company is Europcar. The reason it’s taken me so long to get back to you is because until today after asking my employer I had no idea who the lease hire company was.I don’t have an agreement from the lease hire company. Only what is written into my contract of employment which I have attached the relevant parts.Thanks0 -
Did you email ParkingEye as advised?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Yes. No response as yet. Tried to call them too to no avail.Coupon-mad said:Did you email ParkingEye as advised?2 -
my employer had emailed them though and had confirmation that they are cancelled and refund due. The ticket numbers no longer show on the website either. The refund will go to the lease hire company as they paid them then billed my employer.2

Deductions only allowed for Fines or penalties
THis is neither
Inform you company of the difference, and state they should instruct the lease company to pass along your details as hirer in future, as by paying yet attempting to hold you liable, they have removed your legal right to representation.4 -
Thank you. To be honest it’s making me feel ill. It’s not going to look good on me as I had to put in a grievance regarding unlawful deduction of wages and them claiming furlough without my consent (i had the meeting last week and not had the decision on that yet) and now this. I suppose I need to do this as suggested but worry now I’m going to lose my job which I certainly can’t afford.nosferatu1001 said:Deductions only allowed for Fines or penalties

how does a parking ticket make anyone feel ill?3

and them claiming furlough without my consent
Claiming? I was unaware that consent was needed, can you please explain. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.2 -
Clearly you've never had an employer who is acting unreasonably and throwing their weight around. If it damages your working relationship with them, to the extent you may be booted out of a job (whether it's being "managed out" or more brutally), then that can be pretty stressful.BrownTrout said:how does a parking ticket make anyone feel ill?7
