Sorry Dandytf I was responding to HereToday's post about a designer buying a PC.  Yes M1 sounds like a step change in performance.  A Mac Mini might be my next machine . . .

Latest soon to be new employer asked if I have pc or laptop for Initial few weeks training.

Kind off yes, though wfh purchased Amazon desk is here to stay, though for personal use in a few weeks/months.
I could very well continue to search part time jobs if possible.

Not my lucky day, got a Dell Premium Laptop /sleeve delivered, No Laptop yet.
+ New Employers called and dropped of a Desktop before I start Mon.
That's my kaby lake i3 moved and soon to be XP's desk space taken up.
Is there any small space taking Laptop solutions
