The latest set of accounts for Chambers Property Care Ltd, (Company number 04525142), shows it only owns Plant & Machinery.

There's no shame!  Their contract is for 'The Issuing of Parking Charge Notices'. It has not even been dressed up as 'Car Park Management'.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Yeh, there's a chance the contract is not with the actual land owner. That was the case with my OPS shenanigans!

Useful to see and useful for you at court defence stage.  The enforcement boundary does include that area of roadway but who owns that land, the LR screenshot doesn't say.  Might be worth spending £3 on finding out because I doubt it's the company shown.
Okay I’ll find out. What’s the significance if they don’t own it?  Can chambers property act on behalf of the landowner?

Paul was the contract already redacted when you received it?

    Yes, but where's the evidence?

Anyway your main point is a lack of consideration period and parking contract (NOT the landowner contract).

Ok thanks coupon 👍 I am still flabbergasted that POPLA took the stance they did.

Wasn't there a recent case at court where the judge refused to accept redacted contracts as this mean the court couldn't decide as to what the contract actually offered/promised - and would this be something to hit POPLA with in the future - demanding the full contract in line with a court case - as it will need to be produced eventually?
