Morning everyone
Sending hugs @pigpen
I've only read this page so hugs to anyone else that needs them too
Took the two younger ones too school. Oldest is doing his online schooling..(high school) I'm very disappointed with the teachers tbh. They don't seem to answer questions and mute kids so they can't ask.. or basically block them so they can't type to ask stuff... going to email the school I think. 🙄
Anyway. Lots to do today, legs hurt and I have no energy I really don't know what Is wrong with me I've felt rubbish since Sunday night 😑
Going to see what I can get done while dd is at preschool.
I have an hour and a half... or do I just sleep... Well I could and I want to but the clothes Need to go on the airer .. Numbers to get excited about - today's date is 4.3.21.Six photographs chucked, all of elephants, and 59 pieces of paper which makes up yesterday's numbers as well as today's because I ran out of time working on the photograph albums. I found myself musing on the idea of just chucking a whole pile of photgraphs that have always been a bit of an irritation in the bin because there's the wrong size for the albums, and realised I've been saving all of them just because I've got them. So that's another 16, pleasingly.Better is good enough.10

Morning peoples.. I may need to offload a list on here so I know where I am at.Today I am exporing home education options.. I have found a reasonably priced place which offers English and Maths, £2.50 a day.. I pay that in dinner money so should be doable.. I will find a music tutor so Squeak can continue her cello because she loves it. Though so long as I pay the fees I don't see why she couldn't continue with the local authority lessons. I am cheeky enough to ask.
TBH I would consider keeping her in the current primary if they would allow it.. I will be looking at that as an option too. They are not over subscribed for year 6 and she would be staying with friends, as an August child it would probably benefit her maturity and development anyway. She is very much not ready for the adventures into secondary. They will say no, but they can't say I haven't tried and explored all options.
I need to send OH to shop for a Boog cake.. it honestly doesn't seem 22 years since the drama around that birth. I totally lost my noodles and they took a long time to gather back up again.
We will be seeing an Xbox ban in around 3 minutes if they don't !!!!!!.. I despise Whinecraft..
Having a cuppa.. sending OH and Twinkle.. and Dot to shop.. and looking at painting Moomins room.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)10 -

Maths set up for tomorrow, long slow chilli cooked; friend contacted re picking some up - she's practically passing later anyway so she'll get some. Crock out of SC, chilli cooling. Whoopsied fruit loaf turned into bread and butter pudding (my favourite; DS and DD both like it too), so DS messaged about picking one up...bed stripped.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily Dickinson

I am soooo tired. Is it normal to be have days when I am just exhausted all day, or am I overthinking it?
Anyhoo, paid stuff included two Zoom meetings, a site meeting with a Contractor who needed instructions and a quick catch up with a member of staff who needed some help. I was at work at 8am and didnt finish until 8pm. I had 2 hours off plus a 1/2 hour lunch break, all of which was filled with hoovering, sorting tea, making beds, and general domestic stuff.
Bedtime. Tomorrow is another day.

Busy day again here. DS2 cried on the phone for an hour last night
Had to make many calls for him.
promised myself an early start with my job applications. Got side track when I found catupchuck on the top bunk. This ended up with changing the bed, cleaning the walls and window. Applications seem like exams these days. I have three questions left for the soonest deadline. It isn’t easy to explain an 18+ year career Break in a positive light.

To all who are tired/have various aches/anxiety yes this seems to be quite normal these days! Mon-Wed I felt shivery/dizzy (intermittently), lots of headaches, sore throat. Yesterday Mr N felt exhausted most of the day, and intermittently dizzy. Neither have coughed more than usual and no senses lost. Today we are more or less OK. Who knows?
- went for a run this morning, having chivvied GI I felt I ought to.
- continued sorting photos, with Mr N's help in pruning to my final selection - he is better at photography and imagery than me plus can make objective decisions (not that one, this one).
- hopefully the last online drum lesson.
- did webinar on the new assessment guidelines. Disgusted to find that since they were issued, one of the most expensive tests we HAVE to get has increased in price by £7, so that is in the last 3 days. Talk about opportunist publishers - we've all been waiting for the announcement so they must have put up the price milliseconds after the email came round. Have gritted teeth and ordered 2 of the tests. I have the option of either buying 2 more, or buying a USB camera to use with what I have (some publishers will allow that). Was going to opt for the former, to minimise extra clutter and 'devices' but have just found £25 in Amaz** vouchers which will bring the cost of a camera down (£65).
- have sold a decluttered item on eboy so negotiated my way round 'how to print a label' (I'm new to this).
- checked credit card bill and set up next payment
- checked lesson plan for tomorrow's student
Various other admin and tidying things, but I need to get that photobook done so it is rather taking over; I'm sure I must have done something else. At least the new study/office arrangement is working well, and was much easier for my drum lesson using the pc rather than a laptop balanced inside the top drawer of a chest of drawers!Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.11 -
YL.. about 2-3 days after I am 'peopled' I am utterly exhausted.. they suck the life right out of me and I have to have a day of peace and calm to recover.. but yes it is quite normal.. you need to take more you time and relax more and learn to say no sometimes.. look after yourself!! xxx
I have spent the day researching home educating and I am actually quite confortable and rather looking forward to taking Squeak to stuff like swimming when it is quiet and museums and spending time with her.. she can be my new bestie!! It will be so nice. I have never had time with just her. I was pregnant with Dot when she was just a few months old so it will be lovely to know her. So after Wednesdays mental and emmotional breakdown today I am resigned to home educating and quite happy and comfortable in my decision. If she gets a school place thats great and I might even be disappointed..
