Actually was MICE - two of them. I realised this after it was clear 'it' was in the hallway, so I opened the front door and, after a few false starts, caught it and put it outside. Went back into lounge as was watching Unforgotten, and 'it2' trotted out from under the tv...so ran under sofa, lost it, spotted it by LR door...opened the front door and this one had the good sense to use said front door for intended purpose. Cat, meanwhile, with attention span of goldfish, had vanished.
this has impacted on list... TOMORROW WILL BE LOUNGE & HALL List to go up in morning. Will involve complete vacuuming since I will have mouse poop to shift.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Morning all, on the subject of cats one of mine is at the vets this morning to have his teeth cleaned, a blood test and maybe a tooth removed so no food allowed since last night. He is wandering around the kitchen licking up the odd crumbs he can find on the floor and looking at me so pathetically. He thinks we are SO stupid for forgetting his breakfast, the other one has gone out to hunt something or steal from the neighbours.
So I'm off to the vets in a couple of minutes, then I have an appointment to get a new composter, local authority are offering them to buy at a very very cheap price. We actually have one here but are taking up the offer for the other house. Works out at about a third of the price. Then I really want to clear the sewing table which has become a dumping ground. And living room needs dusting and hoovering.

Morning all.
I'm a bit disappointed with myself yesterday. I didn't groom the dogs so need to do that today, didn't take them for a second walk either. Instead I sat and read the paper, played solitaire and watched telly while eating far too many snacks.
Still today is another day. Have a great one everyone.Spend less now, work less later.10 -

Morning all
Had a burst of energy last night so actually did some flying. Whole house (minus the kids bedrooms)hoovered. Kitchen and bathroom floor washed.
Pilates done this morning and DW emptied. Time for a shower and the paid stuff now. Dusting is on my flying list for today, anywhere and everywhere oh and maybe those radiators.
Jazee - don't feel disappointed, today is a new day.
Narco - glad you got your jab booked in the end.
Covid Ap has requested I get a covid test, so that is booked and one for DS2 who is going back to uni. We will be negative again, it just randomly says get a test for the research but don't mind doing it.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair10 -

Morning. I didn't get anything done last night. By the time I got home from work I was shattered. Feeling better today plus WFH so managng to get something done. I am part way through my ironing and will finish it off shortly. Then I'll hoover upstairs and that will probably be it for today.9

Pegged out washing (DS's - they've nowhere to peg - just finishing it off from the weekend).
Put all tabs on files in cabinet. I have a pattern (the files are different colours) so, for now there is a sequence.
Ironed my washing; now on maiden airing.
Planning on making soup; friend's dad in hospital so if it's half decent I'll give her some.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
