I am back... sorry...
Squeak has been allocated the worst high school possible.. I am so angry I could scream... instead I have politely declined the place, started an appeal with a solicitor and sent an enquiry to the local private schol.. I hate the very idea of a private school but it is better than the disgusting alternative we have if the appeals don't pan out.
NOT happy.
Dots lunch made for tomorrow and her clothes out though.. so I have done something productive.

Morning all,
Piggers how frustrating for you. I will keep everything crossed that it gets sorted with very little distress to you all xx
Welcome to March! Have good days all x12 -
Morning everybody. A lovely sunny start to the day here, hoping that will help keep my motivation. I'm on holiday again this week so hoping to carry on with the progress made last week. DD1 went home yesterday afternoon. I have a few admin tasks to do and a sewing table I want to clear. Laundry is up to date and I want to keep it that way.
Bed made, clothes picked up
Cat pee cleaned up
Time to make coffee, check the banking and get on with the day

Morning everyone
Happy March – it’s the start of Spring now according to the weather people : )
Valli thank you for the lists I shall be in, in some sort of fashion.
Fingers crossed that your car gets through her MOT round, that reminds me I have to ring the my garage to book my little car in for her MOT on Thursday.
Hope your ankle doesn’t give you too much bother today Piggers
Up a bit late today and feeling a bit bleugh. Not as nice a morning as we’ve had recently.
Sitting here with my first cup of tea, after feeding the animals who were demanding there breakfast. Its looking very grey and miserable out there making me feel like I don’t want to do anything.
Packed up the mugs that were just cluttering up the kitchen worktop and just had on display, on the mug trees, the ones that we use regularly. So they went into a packing box.
Yesterday I got a bit busy as I did the following:
- Hoovered landing of cardboard, curtesy of the cats
- Washed dark pink load
- Cleared and washed mugs in the kitchen
- Deep cleaned sink and draining board
- Washed front of cooker
- Washed cooker knobs
- Packed up mugs, box secured and written on ready to go to storage
- Sorted out the veg, transferred from kitchen box into veg box in porch as it’s cooler.
Today I’d like to do the following:
- Strip the bed
- Make bed with clean bedding
- Hang up wet washing to dry
- HHI
- Level one of today’s list : )
- Two box loads of packing, secure ready for storage
- Afternoon walk with Banji
- Post penpal letters
- Ring the garage for MOT booking in
- Sort out throws on the sofas and armchair
- Me time – actually pick up my cross stitch : )
Hope you are all well, hugs for those of us that are struggling.

Morning xx
Thank you Natty. I've dropped off my car at the garage and walked home. I am now collapsed in a chair sat having a coffee.
I've made my bed, fed the birds, and put out the recycling. And I'm dressed (I don't mind pegging out the washing with my fleece thrown on over my nightie - but I don't think the village is ready for that sight)
Inspired by you lovely ladies I've started to sort through a small box of photos. I didn't think I had it in me to get rid of any but ....I've surprised myself. I've got a 'keep' pile, a 'pass to ....' pile and a 'bin' pile. My question is: what do I do with the 'bin' pile? Can they be shredded and put in the waste paper box for recycling? Or is it a shred and bin thing?
I'm going to carry on with that while I've got the right head on.
Love, sticks, and lots of hugs

Spoke too soon about not having any reaction to the jab. An odd feeling but most of it was over and done with in less than 24 hours from onset, and I didn't resort to taking anything. Belovéd was brilliant, and the house looks far better than when I took to my bed. I didn't eat anything for 24 hours and that hasn't done me any harm at all.Up early this morning, dog medicated and walked, kitchen sink sparkled (the plumber's coming tomorrow so I didn't have any choice on that score), about to put a load through the WM, and one photograph decluttered and turned in to a temporary fridge magnet so I know that'll work when the decisions become really impossible, but only in three cases. About to jump in the shower and then off to the chiropractor and then later the dentist.Tomorrow the dog goes to the vet for yet another blood test (she's had a whole year of them) and they've all mattered, obviously, but this one might be the penultimate. That would be so wonderful. An example of how neglected she was when we adopted her, as an ex-breeding !!!!!! - she's clearly has an extremely distinguished pedigree, not that I'd know about that. She was utterly terrified of absolutely everyone but had clearly been trained to stand stock still when being handled. She doesn't even blink. Every two or three weeks for an entire year she's had to go to the vet for bloods, and because of Covid I can't go in with her. She now wags her tail when I hand her over because all the nurses make such a gentle fuss of her. They all absolutely adore her. She should, of course, be terrified of being needled, but because they're gentle she can't believe her luck and they all report she was as good as gold when she comes out. She's the same in and with the groomer. Amazing little dog; animals are so forgiving. I'm not sure humans deserve them.Better is good enough.9

I'm in again this week. In work today so won't get much done. Planning a HI tonight to get the ironing up to date and may do a sweep and mop of the living room and steam mop of the kitchen if I'm feeling motivated when I get home. I've been feeling really overwhelmed with housework but even doing the bits I did last week made such a difference. I often feel like I get not much done during the week and then it's all waiting for me at the weekend. So my weekend, rather than being time to recharge from working all week often feels like a rush of washing, ironing, housework, food planning and shopping and I feel like it's never ending. But this weekend was different. I had down time! I started reading one of my library books and had time to just relax. The wasing and Ironing were reasonably up to date. Housework was reasonably up to date. So thank you to those who run this thread and for everyone who contributes
