Phone call made, I don't why I have put it off for so long, it took less than 2 minutes (yes I checked on my phone) and was easy.  When will I learn not to hate the phone.
Email sent to order some stuff
Chat with both DDs
Chat about savings and financial situation with DH
Need to plan lunch next as he wants it a bit earlier so we can still get our walk in before his meeting.

Honey.. humans do not deserve animals.. 2 of mine were very badly treated as babies. Hazel was found tied in a carrier bag in a bin at around 9-10 weeks old. We got her at around 11-12 weeks when my son removed her from a place where she was being fed rarely, lived in a drawer and was fed acid and other illegal stuff on a fairly regular basis. She has been shot in the face at about 2 years old and while she is twitchy around most people she has finally stopped biting everyone and is very loving and sweet.. a bit smelly and poops in corner she shouldn't! Nutkin had his little tiny tail absolutley mangled as a tiny baby, about 4-5 weeks old from what we can tell. He is terrified of most people but has a very strong connection with those who he trusts. He was terrified when we took him to the vet, he stuck to the table like a furry splat and trembled.. He has a vendetta against towels though, he will wee on them.. oddly his brother and sister do the same, my sisters friend has them and the boy in particular is a nightmare for it. His tail looks just like a furry door handle with a furry curl on the end. They are very loved now though for all their smells and naughtiness.

Appeal paperwork started... my house is just not getting cleaned any time soon.

Websites being bookmarked for home educating for a year or 2.. I will if I have to but I won't be happy about it.

Private school application requested with letter of recommendation from school also requested.
Dots SPD appointment booked for the 12th at 10am..

I also need to finish the ADHD form and get that sent back asap.

Why does nothing ever just go smoothly in life? It is like an episode of a soap opera!

Cats fed their breakfast and Dot unceremoniously deposited at school kicking and screaming.

Morning all

Day off work today, woot woot. Weather is not great and I was in the WAC again but still glad not to be working. Dailies are done, wm has swished and clothes put on the airer, laundry folded from yesterday. Ironing pile sorted... DH will do that this evening. And..... wait for it..... I’ve cleaned the oven! It’s not perfect as I need more oven cleaner, but it’s better than it was! The racks and the bits from the hob are currently soaking in the bath, I will get to them in a bit... some other kitchen jobs from list also done.

Next step for me is a walk to the shop for bread, then I will drop a book off to a friend and will have a distanced chat.

I turned to Mr G for advice and now roughly half the photos from the box are torn up and in the waste bin. Turns out I don't need photos of trees and hills and lakes. Or penguins, horses and birds of prey. They were the easy ones. I've also culled photos with people in. They'll need to be gone through again - but I've binned all the faded and duplicates on a theme. 

Now going to contact four people through FB and ask if they want the photos of their offspring / parents. 

Honey Bear - once again you have acted as a catalyst on my journey to clutter-free living. There's still a long way to go - but did you know that I have floor now! That's your influence at work. Thank you.

Hi everyone 
Nothing done this morning apart from getting the kids ready and off to school. 
Need to pick dd up soon and I have work this afternoon and haven't had a shower yet. 
I have ordered fils and grandmas birthday presents to have delivered to them 
I have a long list of stuff to do but most of it will have to wait till Tomorrow now.

I need to phone the pharmacy I'll do that in the car while I wait to go get dd .

Now Squeak is sad.. so I am sad... and angry.. and tired.. and emotionally in need of a recharge.. I might go walk to pick Dot up.. the fresh air and alone time will be good for my fat behind and my emotions and my head space and my overly peopleness.. I NEED some alone time.. my house is too peoplely!

Apparently 2 boys got places at the school she so desperately wanted.. one is an absolute turd and the other has a sibling there. Their admission criteria is looking very discriminatory against girls.. focusing on 'sporting aptitude' and basically doing a running assessment.. so those who run faster get a place.. and typically boys run faster.. looking at olympic finish times and world records lol I have politely emailed and asked what guided their decision. So, we shall see what comes back.. it's only like asking for feedback after a job interview.

I am totally dysfunctional today.

Right.. ADHD form needs completing.. I will do that while I am sad lol. It is done I just want to add a cover letter to fill in the bits which were not covered by the questions in the questionnaire.

Hello all.
This morning I have sort of dusted the bedroom, changed the bedding, hoovered through of a fashion, had a long walk with Poppet, poo picked in the garden, put rubbish out and first of three wash loads is in the machine.

no.. that's not what we do here.. it will all come round again next week. You need rest and self care too. Just do what absolutely can not be left.. that is not all of it! xxx

Twinkle needed hugs. She is watching a minecraft video and the pig left the puppies and then a wolf chased a cow and he was all lonely and lost and they are so cute. it's just all too traumatic!

Hi again

Walked to the shop to get bread, went the extra long way so I got some exercise at the same time, book dropped off to friend, had a few mins chat but too cold to stand about for long! Couple of other errands run while I was out. Have come back, repotted a house plant that was in desperate need of it. Still need to do the oven racks but a cuppa and a sandwich beckons first I think! 

This afternoon I am going to relax and read, may also have to declutter a snooze.
