Morning all,I had to drop back to 4.5 km on Saturday and Sunday - the foot complained quite loudly that I'd over done it
but as long as I can get out across the fields with doggo, he will do four or five times the distance I manage.
Just one day at work for me this weekthe plans are pretty much, take it easy, read books, and a trip to an architectural salvage yard for a poke about (looking for a container for my collection of pitcher plants).

Morning.Second vaccination for me this morning, pleased to be done and dusted with that (for now).Work are having a blitz on booking holiday before the end of the leave year - absolutely NO carry over, the problem is, when I try to book, I'm told there are too many people in my team off - and because I work in two teams, I have extra trouble scheduling it.2014 starting mortgage £165,0002015 second charge £20,000 - Jan 2021 paid off in fullCurrent outstanding balance - £115,8566

Grrr! Energy company account is now showing an actual reading on my elec account, but hasn't generated any other sort of update, and still doesn't show that the smart meter is sending them data. I'm pretty sure that the credit amount in my account is too high, but I've no way of finding out by how much unless I a) call them - nice people at the call centre, but anything off-script is impossible - and because I don't know what their script is, phrasing things so I get an answer is frustrating. Or b) I wait for a month (possibly two) - the gas readings only seem to date back to April, even though both were 'smart' in Feb.And they wonder why people don't switch.2014 starting mortgage £165,0002015 second charge £20,000 - Jan 2021 paid off in fullCurrent outstanding balance - £115,8567

Oh that does indeed sound frustrating Chigle - and on the annual leave front as well! Our place are still being pretty flexible (well, our department at least), although we can usually take 6 weeks in a row without special circumstances in the summer and now it's only 3 (I know, I know, 'my diamond shoes are too tight' 😂) I'm having two fortnight blocks plus every other Friday - a very satisfactory arrangement! 😁6

. I'll get the days somehow
Anyway, beautiful day for a vaccine, all done and dusted by 10:30 and no side effects so far.Made a big salad to see us through a couple of days, and potted on some seedlings for when the nigella and foxgloves are ready to be pulled out. Then a walk with doggo - I saw a roe deer, but the grass and buttercups were so high, he didn't (phew!). Back up to 5.5km so far today, and 5km average for the last 7 days.2014 starting mortgage £165,0002015 second charge £20,000 - Jan 2021 paid off in fullCurrent outstanding balance - £115,8567 -

I'll get you a picture later, @South_coast
, meadow buttercups rather than the creeping buttercup that make up most of my lawn, and I was at the top of the field looking down, doggo was about level with the deer.

It's going to be a bit of a spendy day today - broomhandle broke yesterday, so lots of household things I have been putting off will probably make it to the trolly (this is MSE because it concentrates journeys, and it's things like industrial quantities of descaler - the hard water here is a real appliance killer). But, DH's £25 PB win made it to the bank account, so all covered2014 starting mortgage £165,0002015 second charge £20,000 - Jan 2021 paid off in fullCurrent outstanding balance - £115,8565

Not as spendy as I thought it would be because when I got to the shop I couldn't remember what I wanted! So it can't have been that important. However . . . The car had to go in to the garage - what sounded like the exhaust was also the catalytic converter. DH has decided with the repair, (has to be done because without it it has no trade-in/resale value) - £800, he'd like to keep it for another year so he can really take his time with research for a new one.2014 starting mortgage £165,0002015 second charge £20,000 - Jan 2021 paid off in fullCurrent outstanding balance - £115,8565
