Lovely day down in the West Country to LMD. Got some washing out on the line for a change too.
I don’t know about you but I often just miss out on surveys in that there’s only a few places left when I see them, and by the time I click on them they’re full. Good morning and a happy Monday
I have a bit of a headache this morning and I can’t work out if it’s the wine we had with dinner last night. I don’t usually get hangovers so I would be surprised if it was.
I managed a £5 cash out from Prolific this morning and also did 3 small quick studies whilst I was onMy PAD was £10 to the credit card, there are now 7 days to pay day and I don’t have much planned in the next week.
Today is not a NSD, I have spent online this morning on a family member’s birthday present. There was a discount so I bought it earlier than planned, so I like to think this is still MSE!
Off to grab breakfast and another coffee before logging into work. It’s another busy week for me.
Have a good day!

The focus has been on this for so long you need to think of something else to aim for.I have a list of items that I would’ve bought without a second thought previously so I’ll save for those and then I’ll be concentrating on my EF and my sabbatical fund. Sabbatical will be the next long term goal as I want to save £10,000 which won’t be easy.Life gets in the way...PADding is addictive...Saving's better than spending...My savings diary - Now for a healthier, wealthier me2025 1p challenge #41 | Cash envelope challenge #01 | SPC #017Sealed pot 2025 £5678 | EF £1000/£1000 | Sabbatical £3188/£6000 | Travel savings £1924 | Sinking pots £21264 -
Morning all and happy Tuesday... I spent most of yesterday thinking it was Tuesday so this doesn't bode well for Friday
At least it's pancake day so yummy food later. still have my headache so we can cross 'hangover' off the list of diagnoses.
Today is a NSD, we are going to the cinema tonight but I have an annual pass and they validate our parking so it will be free. This morning I cashed out a whopping £20 from prolific and sent that with the usual £5 to CC7. I still have £22 pending approval too. This payment takes my final projected April one to £829 (from £1k) so things are progressing nicely.
A couple of the Vinted items were delivered yesterday but not confirmed as OK yet - I'm hoping they are, as I'm always very transparent and honest with my listings and one of them is a £22 value.
I didn't manage to add any more listings to Vinted at the weekend so that's something I really must do this weekend. Hubby is away so the dog and I have the whole weekend to ourselves, although the dog is currently mad with me for not sharing my breakfast lol.
Have a lovely day all, enjoy the sunshine if it makes an appearance wherever you are

Happy me this morning! I've just checked prolific and a £14 study has been approved and they've also given me a £12 bonus! I'm over the moon! I've already cashed out this morning so it'll be tomorrow before I can get it but I'm so pleased

Morning peeps! Hope everyone is doing well? No sun yet in south Yorks but it's not raining so I'll take that as a bonus
Today is a NSD for me, I have no plans to go anywhere except for the gym after work. I cashed out £27 from Prolific this morning, plus I won £7 on a scratch card that hubby bought me ()and another £4 cleared from Vinted so added to my usual PAD I sent £43 to the credit card this morning. My OCD approves of the new total Lol.
I still have 5 days until pay day, I am out to meet a friend for lunch tomorrow and then that's it for plans until I get paid. It will be a quiet weekend so if there is any spending it will be low in value.
I have managed to colour another square on my debt free chart this morning, I have now paid 61% off the last card, on Monday this should be at 67% paid. My projected final payment now sits at £775, all is looking great from a finance perspective.
We are all acutely aware of my obsessive personality which got me into the debt in the first place, but to give it it's due it's played a huge part in clearing it too. I realise that once the debt is clear I will need a new focus and I'm not sure that just saving will do it. I could start to tackle the mortgage, but that may feel too large a mountain to climb so I am wondering if I can steer my focus to fitness and weight loss. It would br great if I could, as I need to both lose weight and get fitter... and exercise doesn't cost anything extra than my already being paid gym cost. It's definitely something I need to give considerable thought to.
Anyway, that's my brain spill for this morning... I'm off to work!
Have wonderful Wednesdays!
