Well done. That total is really dropping quickly now.
  • Morning! Happy Friday to you all :) We have officially survived another week.

I have been working since before 7 this morning, I was awake and started to think about all the things I had to do so I figured the best thing to do was to get up and crack on.  It's been so busy this week and usually Friday brings a bit of respite but I have 5 (!) meetings today :(

Anyhoo, today is a NSD for me, I have lost count, but it will be on the monthly NSD thread. Today's PAD was £5 to CC7 and I'm thrilled to be under the £3k mark. I'll be sending another £500 on Monday when I get paid.

There's nothing available on Prolific yet, but £18 pending. I have to send out another Vinted sale over the next few days so that will be another £10 there.  I also need to get more stuff listed on Vinted as it's just super easy to do and there's usually someone who wants your stuff :D

I don't think I have anything else to update on, I'm just happy it's the weekend.
    Have a fabulous Friday!

OMG you're on fire with all these Vinted sales and PADs. Congrats on getting below £3k, what an achievement. When I first discovered your diary I think you were in the £7k bracket??

I think it was around £7k in July/August last year. But I'm so happy with the sales and surveys helping to get it cleared.

  • Afternoon everyone, I'm late with my update today as I popped into town for a bit.  It's not a NSD as I got myself some bits of clothes but all were in the sale and I only spent £34 which I think (given my history) is quite reserved!

Anyway, my PAD today was £10 to the credit card, I will try and send more tomorrow as it's the last day before pay day. No plans now for the rest of the weekend, so I will chill out and just relax for a bit... might treat myself to a face mask!

    Have a great day all

  • Good morning, I have spent some time this morning sorting out my spreadsheet as it's pay day tomorrow. I've sent my spare month end money to CC7 and today will therefore be a NSD.

Nothing approved on Prolific, but there are some issues with paypal so it wouldn't surprise me if they paused approvals until that's sorted.

I now have a balance of £2955, 60 days to go before I am debt free and that final payment is down to £640. I'm feeling very positive and we have started to have discussions about what to do with our extra money when we are both debt free.  This includes overpaying on the mortgage and buying a holiday home to use as an Air BnB.  Still all up in the air. I'll be concentrating on savings pots until hubby joins me with a zero balance next year.

I hope you all have a great day!

  • Ooh below £3k...how exciting.
I had a lot waiting for approval on P/fc and quite a bit was approved overnight, so that was a nice surprise to wake up to. I just think its all very hit & miss at the moment, same as it is for getting the actual surveys. It all depends on our demographics I think. Not sure if you are on the Pf/c thread on here, but some people talk on there of having several large studies a day and one person mentioned her & her partner had made over £2K in a few months! So I think it really is pot luck.

Like that you are discussing what to do with the extra money. We keep talking about that, although it will be a little while yet. My plan is to save for the future...DH wants to buy a new car and motorbike and go on a cruise.....mmmmm think my idea is best....lol
