Have a great time in Scotland. Lovely time of year to be going.

We have filled the car up with diesel this morning. Although diesel price is coming down slowly it is still making a difference. £10 less to fill the car up this morning then it was a couple of weeks ago. Every little helps.

Hoping it continues on the downward trend for a couple of weeks. We need to fill the van up when we go away after Christmas!
  • I've been wondering about the advantages of a PAD holding pot that some others use so it gives me visibility of the extra payments I am making.  Then realised it's all in my budget book so just did a bit of totting up, and I've paid an extra £135 off my card already since pay day which is insane but also wonderful! :)  I really need to try and keep up this momentum!

£10 less is a good difference! Hope it does continue to drop, it's costing hubby a small fortune to fill the van

  • Afternoon all. Just a note as I’ve sent £60 to CC7 this afternoon. This was my £50 from Y-live as it’s hit the bank, plus £10 from Airtime rewards.

Almost makes up for the fact that I had a crack in my windscreen this morning when we were due to set off, so we have had to come in hubby’s van and my windscreen is being replaced next week. Used the EF for the excess, but that’s what it’s there for after all

  • Ooh bad luck with the windscreen crack. Was it the extra cold weather did it?  We'd be stuck in a situation like that as we only have 1 car and DH has a motorbike....not going on the back of that.

Just catching up on diaries as it's been very busy lately. Have a great time in Scotland and sorry about the windscreen, but thank God you have the emergency fund and you're right, that is what it's there for.

I can't believe how much extra you've paid off since payday and more to come as well. You do so well with these surveys. I sometimes lack the time and motivation to keep going, but then I see how successful you are and it makes me try again 🤗.

It's great to see that you're as addicted to PADding as the rest of us @AntoMac! My friends and family think I'm crazy for getting as excited about it as I do 😂.

  • Morning Keedie, I’m so grateful that I had the EF to use, especially as otherwise it would have been coming out of my trip away fund.

Ill keep on with the surveys even when CC7 is clear. It will bolster my sealed pot :)

  • Hello All!  It’s bitterly cold here and at the moment I am still snuggled in the huge hotel bed so I thought I’d update.

Today sees my DFD move to below 200 days away! I’m very excited and I’m glad I decided to add it to my signature for visibility. Keeping me focused on the end goal.

I made a £2 PAD this morning to CC7, today will be a spendy day as we are heading to the shops and then we are at a music gig tonight.

Hope you all have a great weekend!
