Good decision to keep the emergency fund.

I admit I keep looking at our savings account and thinking would that money be better off paid off the credit card or as an overpayment on the mortgage. But I am keeping it in the savings for now. Never know when we will need it!
  • Sent another £5 to CC7 this evening... spent less than we anticipated tonight so I won't miss it :)

Good morning guys and gals. I hope everyone is having a good Wednesday so far?  For some reason, I could not sleep properly last night.  Took ages to drift off, and then I probably saw every hour through until my alarm... I'm absolutely shattered today as a result :(

I have made a £12 PAD to CC7 this morning and today will be a NSD for me. I am not going anywhere and I have no plans to spend. I have managed to resist the Amazon prime deals too, I am quite proud of myself and I haven't even had to turn notifications off this year :D

I've already done 3 Prolific surveys today, one paying £9! I was very lucky to drop on that one.  I currently have just under £5 available and just over £10 pending.  I will of course be keeping a beady eye on it throughout the day.

It's really cold here today, probably doesn't help that I'm tired to be honest, but I have had to pop the heating on and close the internal doors, much to the dog's annoyance - he's currently grumbling in his bed in the office.

Hope whatever you're doing today, you're happy and warm.

Freezing here in the office. They have not turned the heating on yet so we are all sat in hoodies and jumpers.

Hoping they put it on before too much longer though. Might have to bring my thermal socks if not :)

When I was in the office yesterday I was really cold too, although I swear it was from the central air con and not just because of the weather :D Maybe they think it increases productivity... *rolls eyes*

    Hi LMD
You are doing so well with the extra payments. I like prolific (quite a few surveys on N Ireland - which is good for me 😊) but I’m not a fan of the other survey sights because I’m constantly screened out and I’m a little impatient.
You need to be content with small steps. That’s all life is. Small steps that you take every day so when you look back down the road it all adds up and you know you covered some distance.

Thanks Mliz, totally agree about the ones that screen you out, especially when you build a profile by answering a gazillion questions. I've fallen out with panelbase completely now.  Will stick to Pinecone, Prolific and Y-live although I need to re-visit YouGov as I remember that being OK.

I don't mind being screened out by demographics but it should be done near the start, not after 15+ minutes of answering questions.

Like you, I am very impatient!
