Good morning all and happy Monday! Up early again today but I wanted to check my payslip and do my spreadsheet. It's pay day tomorrow and today is another NSD for me.
PAD of £1 made to CC7, I have done a little count up and through PADs and surveys this month I have sent an additional £91 to CC7!! That's almost as much as I send as a regular payment and almost 150% of the minimum payment. I mean I knew that all the little bits added up, but that's really great for the month!
I am looking forward to pay day tomorrow and having some money in the bank again, all surplus from this month will be sent to the EF. The insurance money should also clear over the next 2 days so I'll put that in there too.
As it's pay day tomorrow I also get to tot up my written budget journal and see what's been spent where. This should be eye opening on where I might be able to cut back a bit more over the next few months. Will report back if I find anything!

That's amazing sending 150% over your minimum payment to CC7! Incredible how little and often soon mounts up! Eek getting closer and closer to that DFD!
It's handy that you receive your payslip before you get paid the following day! We get ours the day after we get paidWould be nice to have it to help with working out how to shuffle excess funds about!

Well, I'm at the end of the fiscal month, with £100 left over (albeit some is cash so I can't bank it all) so a good amount can go to the EF in the morning - whooop! I think this is mainly due to Covid though, we will see what happens next month.
When I balanced the months budget vs spending I found that I hadn't budgeted enough for eating out/take aways but that may be due to being at the festival at the start of the month and the fact that prices have sky-rocketed lately. Also, I'm over budgeting for my hobbies, which didn't cost me anything at all last month.
All in all, I'm glad I'm in a positive position though.

Good morning everyone and happy pay day to meeee!
When I checked the bank this morning, the insurance payment had gone in too so for about 10 minutes I felt loaded... and then I moved it all out to various pots and now I'm back to normal again hahaha
Today won't be a NSD as I'm out tonight to meet some friends for a drink and a catch up. My pay day PAD was £2125.45 to various places, however my EF is now looking good at £997.91 so very close to that golden £1k target.
I'm off to colour in my charts now

Amazing PAD @LittleMissDetermined
Almost there with your EF goal. I'd be half tempted to throw the extra few pennies that way just to round it off
Sucks feeling temporarily loaded knowing its only for a few hours !
