Morning all,
Dark skies here but it is very very mild. I have woken up (in the loosest sense of the word; I honestly don’t feel like I have been to sleep) with a storming headache so am definitely having two cuppas before I head off this morning. I will set the DW going before I leave.
Hugs to everyone xx12 -
Morning, another lovely sunny day here. Cats to the vet this afternoon for their jabs. Need to work out how to measure and cut coving, I think I've now worked it out but actually need to take the plunge and cut!
DD1 is sorting out plastic boxes, so that will mean more space
WM is on
Our bed is stripped and bedding in WM
Kitchen and dining room are looking good but living room is in need of some attention. Going to be tricky as DH working from home but if I can get it tidied and dusted I'll do the floors and windows tomorrow.
I have banking chores to sort too.12 -

Morning everyone.
I got what I wanted to get done before work yesterday. At work this morning after dropping the kids off at school. I don't normally do this shift but they couldn't find cover.
Need to take it easy tonight and tomorrow as I'm doing a long day at work Friday. But I plan on doing skip runs and start decluttering and organising properly so hopefully by Monday I'll be where I want to be regarding the house and can concentrate on just keeping on top of it all

Morning lovelies, it’s a beautiful day and we are promised a temperature of 14 deg. I’m hoping to get another decent wash load on the line today – I will clear this wash mountain that has seemed to appeared..lol I think it’ll be a towels load and a white load today..
Got rudely woken up by the ninjacat playing with my toes under the covers, he had managed to hook his front paws under the cover and pounced everytime I moved. He had worked out that if he pounced I moved therefore he could keep pouncing..lol
There is a certain area, in the living room, I need to clear today and it must be cleared otherwise I won’t get it done. I keep putting it off…or moving things in the area and this won’t help my packing will it? For those that have moved how on earth did you manage the packing without losing the will to live...?
Banji did ok with his jabs yesterday, but it was a weird concept going to the vets this time. Once I got there I had to phone the vets from outside to let me know that I was there, then wait for the vet to collect Banji and take him inside for his jabs while I sat in the car. Then the vet rang me to tell me how Banji got on – afraid to say he has put a kg on since his last visit last year so he now has to have reduced intake of food, not so many dog treats, and two walks aday.. Although I did wonder if it was muscle now rather than fat as he now goes for an hours walk a day with Dave, and two hours at the weekends. Oh well at least it will get me out for a walk once a day..
But apart from that weight issue he got a clean bill of health, even his teeth plaque has cleared up from last year that he was starting to develop when he had his last jabs last year. He’s a very healthy little boy, just a wee bit chubby….lol
Natty’s list
- Make bed
- Wash towels
- Bathroom list
- Tidy up living room (it’s a mess)
- Update bullet journal
- Write a couple of letters
- Post above letters
- Put away clean towels, when dry
- White wash load
- Find lost joggers – they’ve completely disappeared somewhere though who knows where..
- HHI ironing

Natty when moving you need to ruthless, if you haven't used it / unlikely to it, then out it goes, (CS/ FB/ Freecycle/ bin/ dump/ driveway sale etc) make sure to clearly label each box, and wrote on the box what is in it, to help when you get the other end.I knew that one day I would move, and looking back I think subconsciously, I started 'packing' 3 or 4 years before the unknown date, will all the car booting (money used for flight tickets) clearing out I did, so when the actual time came I was semi ready to pack. At the end of March I will have sold the old house for 1 year. All I can advise is just keep going, set a number of boxes to pack per day, or something like by the end of next week, I will have packed (choose room)So folks today I am:-Cleaning the last piece of guttering out the back, it is awkward as between the house and conservatory, full of moss so not been done for ages, I think a step ladder and garden hoe may to the job, to drag the cr*p to the end then lift it out into the bin. Well that is the theory. No doubt the windows outside will need a reclean. There is another piece of guttering attached to the garage, the trough is clean but the underside of it is green with algae so I need to power wash thatKitchen needs to be cleanedOther general stuff like weed pots etcHave a good dayBreast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

Afternoon all (only just!)
This morning I have
- showered and dressed before breakfast: makes a change!
- loaded and started DW
- S&S'd kitchen
- S&S'd bathroom
- tidied LR and BRs
- cleaned behind all the radiators: surprisingly clean, apart from several bits of paper - none of any importance - that had blown off my desk and were hiding behind the rad in the study
- phoned DSiL (postponed from last week, because she emailed me before I got round to it)
- texted a friend to ask if she's like to chat this evening while DH is in a Z00m meeting (she would)
- made coffee for myself and DH, who has taken himself off to his man cave and is painting hair on Celtic warriors (or similar)
- collected all the orange peel (from DH's lunches) that was overflowing from the freezer and chiller drawers, and started cooking it for marmalade
Now I must declutter various admin jobs and remember that I have a Z00m meeting at 5.00 pm.
