Ironing doneAdmin type stuff doneSince power washing all the patio and the guttering, I have let the grass dry out for 2 days, so today I have cut the back lawn!
high setting, jut to let the windy blow through it and make it look nice, well that is the theory. Front lawn I am leaving, as I want to have a large part of it dug up to make better parking for the 2 cars, there is hire place about 10 mins walk away, so I might go and have 'a chat' to see how much for 'operator and digger machine'.

I played with the radiator duster before going out. I obviously live in a pit. The dust under some units was enough to fill the small bin. Just back from dentist. £160 lighter and I can't feel my face so I'm just going to chill for the rest of the day.Spend less now, work less later.12

Dusting not done but 63 more bits of paper shredded, something important I didn't know was missing was found to be missing, a pension thingy I'd been waiting for for years was found in the right file and had clearly been there for nearly five years *doh* and I've now run out of steam. However, another file closed and a small amount of paperwork put on the pile to go up to the attic. Belovéd is going to have to do today's shredding because mine has had a serious attack of the vapours.
Better is good enough.11 -
Hi all
Feeling better today thanks all. In the office today so I organised a socially distanced meeting with my team (all 3 of us) this morning and delegated some pieces of work, it felt really upbeat sitting around the big conference table having a coffee and just chatting about work and making plans.
Fayolle glad you are doing the yoga, I have been doing it every week day since November and I swear it helps me sleep and helps me feel calmer.
Chicken pie made, our bed sheets changed, bedroom dusted and hoovered, washing off the airer and in the tumbler. Tired now.

Evening all
Paid stuff done, laundry shuffled, en suite and downstairs loo s/s, quick walk with DH for some fresh air and to buy coffee! Supper heated and eaten, leftovers so nice and easy, wudupa with help of DH and kitchen reset nice and tidy for the morning.
Work is still really manic and I have another early start tomorrow so I’m now going to curl up with my book or maybe a bit of tv.
Hugs to all x11 -
Evening ladies xx
Busy day here. Up at 6am, sorted the chickens and hoovered all through upstairs. WM did a hot wash with vinegar as it was stinky, then full day at work.
Home to more work emails, cooked a chicken dinner, unloaded and reloaded DW. Very tired now. We have a sunny day forecast on Thursday so I intend to strip my bedding then. Long day at work tomorrow so flying will be limited.
Hugs to all xx

Honeybear that's hard about your horse. I had a restless single mum from the age of 5 and I don't think we ever lived in one place for longer than about 4years, although give her due, she was always trying to find something better for us and I don't recall having to part with possessions. However, probably as a result, I've only lived in 4 places since I left home at 18 - a temporary hostel while I was on the key worker housing list; my flat, Mr N & my first house together, then our current house (33yrs).
Rather moody and tearful today, don't know why particularly. However, achieved a reasonable amount:
- went for a walk as the sun was lovely although wind strong, but found a new footpath we didn't know. It's only short but makes a previous 'there and back' route into a bit more of a circuit and it will be a good running route at just under 5km, not very muddy and with a short incline to get the heart going.
- sorted and put away all items from the kitchen drawer which now runs smoothly. After the mayhem of all the stuff that has been going on in the kitchen this year, it now looks pretty good and uncluttered although is due for another clean.
- did some pruning and weeding
- did some serious costing of digital assessment materials, emailed one publisher and got a quick response, plus had an online chat with the sales lady from another publisher. I've got a list and plan now for if/when they say 'go'; sales lady said she was not aware of any deals coming up so it will be an outlay of about £250.
- continued shredding and sorting in the study/office, which Mr N says is now looking really like it is almost done. Glad it is obvious to him, as I get sort of immersed in it and sometimes when you are sorting, it looks like more clutter. We agreed that the plastic storage box I had planned to put all my qualification notes in and store in the loft is too shallow. Looked in loft and I'd kept the packaging for my drum kit in case anything was faulty and I needed to send it back. Fingers crossed it is 2 months old now, so we recycled all the smaller boxes (it was DIY!) and agreed the big main one will easily house my course notes plus it will still be available to put the drums in if the worst happens. I have started looking at carpet on line to get some idea of what I want.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.11 -
Today’s annoyance task- dusted ceiling light fitting and one of the bulbs or should I say part of the bulb fell out.
shredded the last of the school work that has been living under the sofa for a few years.
Rehomed some more items
went for a walk and had a quick doorstep chat with a relative
ground floor Henried and 1xwm done
booked our vaccines
decrumbed DH food shelf (he opens biscuits and doesn’t use a bag or box). I need to reorganise the food cupboard as if DS2 is not returning I no longer need a separate cupboard for nut safe items or a crisp shelf
someone from the crisis team rang me today as DS2 hasn’t had a good couple of days apparently.12 -
DW run several times, cat dishes all clean.. I have hourly alarms set to wake Boog and check bloods.. Drinking with ones friend means a sleepless night for me.. he has been vomming (OH cleaned that up and broke the brush.. excuse for a trip to B&M.. YAY!!)
*deletes rant*
I'm off to bed... nn xx love you lots xx see you laters gators! xx
