Good morning!
Bank accounts and emails checked, WM on, bed stripped and waiting to be washed. I need to get myself ready to go to the dentist (arghhh!) I will continue when I get back.
Valli I think I may have said it before, but try looking at Charles Dowding. He has lots online & videos about no-dig gardening - especially veggies. It is good for clay soil, and it does work! It will save a lot of work, but it's not everyone's cup of tea. I use it at the allotment.
Have a good day everyone - wish me luck!!9 -
It's been pouring with rain all morning but seems to be easing off now so next I'll be walking the dogs. Since my last post I have done all dailies except putting rubbish and recycling out, 15 mins exercise, nice soak in bath, damp dusted bedroom and changed the bedding. There is a mountain of washing to get through today.Spend less now, work less later.11

Morning friends. I'll catch up with the threads a bit later, but in the meantime I've:- disposed of 60 bits of paper including quite a few I would have felt the need to keep until a few weeks ago, but now realise the accountants would be my first point of call if there were a problem with the issue, and- chucked 42 photographs, bringing the total so far to exactly 500.Today I will:- visit the dentist who I bit last time I saw him, by mistake obviously, but I need to know I've been forgiven before he starts with the needle and drill,- 15 minutes dusting behind some radiators, and- 15 minutes high dusting with a thing on a stick. We have webs. One of the BRB technicians who stays with us sent us this link this morning and it's absolutely beautiful.Better is good enough.9

Dot placed unceremoniously at school. She is NOT happy.. I have zero foxes!Twinkle was very brave at the dentist. She did NOT like the bright light so she had sunglasses on. After she was all done she said *that really hurt, Mummy* .. but she was super brave and now has 2 fixed teeth.. I actually think the worst part is the UV light for hardening the filling material.. that gets really hot.
Moomin has an appointment for 23rd March so I best add that to my diary too before I forget.. I feel so bad having forgotten to make her an appointment.. she was last there in June 2019!!!! I am a terrible parent!I need to make Moomin a Nurse appointment, I'm not bothering making myself one.. way too much hysteria for my sanity to deal with. I really need to make GP appointments for Dot (paed referral), Me (4 things I want to discuss.. though there may be 5.. I could really do with the hearing test referral) and also Boog. However, they haven't been working since last March so I doubt that will happen with the shoddy appointments system and the lack of GP working. Good job none of us have anything potentially deadly. If appointments were possible I would want Twinkles ear looking at, her eczema is really bad and looks infected.OH and Dot need opticians appointments making.. Dot is fun to take to any appointments.
ooohhhh..... flying police cars down my street.. fun times!!
I need a laundry shuffle,DW to be on
Shopping to do.. milk and sugar and cucumber and apples and food in general.. oh, jellies and choc chips.. I forgot those. .. and pasta sauce..
I might get the paint out and leave OH to feed the pinks.
Boog seems to be having a run of hypos at the moment.. bloods were 2.8 while I was out so OH had to deal with his floppiness.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)10 -

Dentist done. They can't reconstruct the crown, so the root needs to come out. After that I have 4 options: leave a gap (do nothing); denture (through NHS, on a plate); a bridge (cost £300-£1000) or an implant (£2-3k) Ouch! As it is a front tooth, I don't think I like the 1st option (although I have lived with it for a year nearly already - but I haven't seen many people!). I don't need to decide now. I have booked for next week for a filling 😥
Having a cuppa, and then I may think about lunch. After lunch.....I haven't decided yet!10 -
GI.. that is extortion for one implant.. it should be £400-500 for one tooth (I've just been reading our surgery leaflets lol).. I'd question that. A bridge can damage neighbouring teeth but is probably nicer than a denture. A gap at the front is just not an option really is it? I have hardly any back teeth but they are at the back.. my front ones have just developed holes in the back from wear and tear from my bottom teeth.. it's all very weird. Mine line up pretty perfectly I just have rubbish tooth enamel.OH doing DW and fed the girls and made a cuppa... and then he is doing cat trays.I have re-written the ASD questionnaire from the hospital because they sent scanned in sheets which are use to neither man nor beast.I'm not sure whether I have done them a favour or made things easier just for myself and school.. I am sending it to them and asking the class teacher to fill one in and the useless, lazy senco to do one too. I want clarification on whether there was any support requested from the Autism team or SALT too (putting it here so I remember what I am doing because I have a head full of sparrows!)
I'm wondering if I could send a copy to the swimming coach to see if he would put down his feelings on her too. I know he struggles with her behaviour, I feel his pain. He is really the only person who has spent any length of time with her outside of school. I can but ask.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)11 -
