£36.21 spent this morning, between the butchers, the bakers and the candlestick-makers - oops, no, that'd be the supermarket! More to go tomorrow at the market, but I'm well on target, though there's one less adult here full-time than I was allowing for when I set the target! However he will be back very soon, and DD1's boyfriend has manfully stepped up to the mark & eaten quite a lot of what I'd allowed for DS3!Angie - GC Aug25: £106.61/£550 : 2025 Fashion on the Ration Challenge: 26/68: (Money's just a substitute for time & talent...)6

Hey y’all, one spend to report. Tonight OH went to M & S to get milk and few other things: yoghurt, a pepperoni pizza, a plain pizza base for later, apples, raspberries, and a chocolate dessert I never even saw enter the house because he ate it so fast while I was in a meeting! We had the pepperoni pizza for dinner and the mister glammed it up a bit by adding red peppers, tomatoes, and onions.
£15.00 exactly spent!
£275.47 / £300 total spent
I’m glad we’ve been able to keep our hands in our pockets until this evening this week. As I mentioned before, I’ll likely visit the bigger Lidl in town this weekend. We’re also planning to visit a farm shop on the edge of town too so may save the veg shopping for there.

£50 spent at the market this morning, on fish, cheese, fruit & veg for the week, leaving me £79 for the rest of March. Which should be totally do-able, so why do I feel a little anxious now...?Angie - GC Aug25: £106.61/£550 : 2025 Fashion on the Ration Challenge: 26/68: (Money's just a substitute for time & talent...)6

Hope everyone is well, I did spend a couple of pound on a lot of YS (got really lucky as all stuff I needed) thought I posted but lost it. I have £21.00 to go for the last week which I shall shop for tomorrow. Mr L I suspect. Cooked a small ham (well gammon thing) so that sorts out today for us.
Seem to be quite well stocked up for a change.

I just had an exciting thought...I managed to get through the week without having to top up the shopping. That means under £50 spent this week 😇 Basically I couldn't be bothered to go to the shops so I jigged the meal plan using what we had in. I feel dead smug 😏7

So far this month I've spent £55.78, leaving £19.22 in the budget until the end of the month. I should only need milk bread and fruit but have said that before and then got mugged by the cake or cheese counter (or both).Grocery challenge 2025: £650/1500 annual budget5

Had a few spends, amounting to £15.83. Got plant milk, a load of salad stuff, avocados and a ton of bananas, plus tonic water. A couple of litre bottles of Tanqueray gin, were delivered accidentally with the shopping about a year ago. Yes, I kept them, naughty me. I might have a little tipple to celebrate Arsenal going through & Tottenham not (shame) in the Europa cup. Been on overkill, making dips and living out of stores, really enjoying making stuff I wouldn't normally. Might have a bash at making some dahl. I've never made it before. Also found a couple of tins of banana blossom at the back of the cupboared. Think I bought them to make vegan fish. Any fellow vegans made dairy free yoghurt in an instant pot? Do you have a recipe?? Happy shopping.
