Thanks guys, no I didn't know there was an actual comp thread too. I thought this was the main thread, and thanks @Comping_Rich I knew I could rely on you to help 🌞

There really isn't any point of varying the number you try either. They are just different phone lines for different stations/networks. They all get entered into the same pot. 

I just use the one number. I just go to my call history and keep calling it until it tells me I’ve reached my limit.

Oh, does it tell you when you've reached your limit? I'm been keeping track (which is a PITA to do) in case I do an extra one and invalidate my entries. Thanks.

And while we're chatting, obviously the biggest fear of this comp is that they phone and you miss the call, or don't give the right answer, but apart from that, my biggest fear is that in a few weeks I have a medical telephone appointment at 3 pm. I know I will have to answer the phone with, "Make me a winner", but goodness knows how I'm going to explain that to the doctor on the other end of the phone. What if s/he misshears me and thinks I'm asking for some sort of 'make it bigger' medical procedure? EEK!

Lady named Kay answered with make me a winner on what seemed to be the final ring! £168,000 won. Will be paying off the mortgage.  

£170,000 tomorrow.

Yep. Well done kay, 130 odd entries over 3 days here and another few days of watching my pennies 😂 keeping everything xd ill get my chance soon. Can’t play tomorrow as im away but id assume we have maybe 2-3 more weeks of this and it’ll cap at 200k?

Ha - yeah you get a message on the 43rd (or more if they're doing a special offer that day) call to say "You have reached your maximum entries permitted for this competition", and then (in my experience) you just get "Line busy" until the next round of the comp opens. This is, in part, quite a recent change, and I presume may have been introduced to help tackle the problem some people were having of not being able to get through to the phone line at times.

The actual biggest fear of this comp in my opinion is that people forget, or don't realise, that if you enter on e.g. a Monday, you will also be entered on Tuesday, Wednesday etc until someone wins. I wonder if some of the people answering "Hello", or failing to answer at all, didn't realise they were in the competition that day, having entered on a previous day.
