  • Tsk, only a single decanter is required.

    Slainte mhath.

Agreed !! you needs a macallan or a dimple.

My gin stays in the utility.
  • I beg to inform my friends that there are days when only a chilled, bone dry sherry hits the spot.  B)

"She could squeeze a nickel until the buffalo pooped."

  • @goldfinches

We could discuss this over a port ?
  • I wonder how the young right-wing moron is getting on with his Trollope?!
What a cracking move by the judge.

Education as a punishment, I like it :D
Unfortunately so many people think the same way when its readily accessible. The Grange Hill mentality meaning that people don't realise when they are well off.

I can't help but think of all the children out there that would dearly love an education are committed to manual work for survival instead. Its a very unfair world.
No man is worth crawling on this earth.

So much to read, so little time.
  • Don't worry, Rosa, Bo' is apparently going to level it all up.

By cutting international development funding. Bojo works in mysterious ways...

  • Pah! Little mystery - he's a complete $&%^(*&' *$%£&%*
I am absolutely resolved to live long enough to dance on his grave. I saw Margaret Thatcher's funeral and am enjoying deciding exactly which dances I shall perform to honour the passing of various people I have cordially loathed for years. It's a jolly good way of spending the odd ten minutes here and there and there's never a shortage of people simply queuing up to be added to one's list either.
I never understand why when the reporters interview someone who is very old they don't ask them more interesting questions. I should love to know which public figure(s) they loathed and why or what is the earliest event of national or international significance that they remember and what was it like. Someone over a century old anywhere in the world today has seen so many people come and go and so much has happened in that time. I'm sure we would all find their answers fascinating for lots of reasons, if only because someone mentions an event we've never heard of before.
I'm not sure I would go that far!!

Memories are short, and politicians are generally known for one defining act: Blair for Iraq, Brown for the global recession (despite not being his mistake), Cameron for Brexit earned Bozo wants to be known for this massive reform (for egotistical rather than altruistic reasons) which just goes to show that even a broken clock is right twice a day.

House is taking shape now, I'm just getting glimpses....how I wish could open up m6 library and bar to those who wish to chat politics.

Oh how I wish DT was still open especially after today!
Maybe, just once, someone will call me 'Sir' without adding, 'You're making a scene.'
