DW emptied & reloaded, and pots washed. A few things were still yucky, so I also cleaned the filter 😇 All sides have been wiped down, and the hob. Downstairs toilet & sink cleaned, and the worktop in the utility has been wiped. I have also wiped down the walls in the hall as they had lots of mud splatters, mainly from the dog!
I am now having a well earned cuppa before putting a chilli on for dinner, then heading upstairs. At this rate I will actually complete my list! I will need to go to the shop for crusty bread, as DS prefers that to rice.7 -
Hello all. Bright sunshine here with the odd light snow shower so had a lovely walk with the dogs although some pavements were slippery.
Have also done my work shift and the dailies. DH is home today so think he'll want a haircut later. Not really sure what else I'll get up to.Spend less now, work less later.10 -
Deposit, rent, agency fees, insurance all sorted and paid for DD2, she can get the keys tomorrow. Admin is so exhausting!
Been for lunch with DD1, takeaway from her favourite place. Came home with her washing and a pair of Timber**** boots that she doesn't wear that I love, she got them in the sales a couple of years ago.
Had enough for today so going to check what I need for tomorrow's lessons and call it a day.

Hello,
Hugs to dancemum.
Hugs, and glad you got there and back safely, Narc0.
I hope Mr Iona feels better soon.
Hugs to Badcat for working so hard and trying in vain to take the bad flylady crown away from me!
A hug and a telling off to YL. Now you have to get your eyes tested as we all will nag you. I have a substantial wrist support that I frequently bring into use when my wrist starts to give way. I have also just got one of those gel wrist support thingys for when I’m spending hours clicking the mouse up and down the screen. It seems to help. Thank you for the push - I am trying to do a short yoga session most evenings. I’m now really sleepy by 9.30pm but wide awake at 3am!
Glad you’re ok, Round. Take it easy at work - easier said than done.
Love the “Baloo shopping”, Piggers 🤣.
Sorry if I have missed anyone, have a hug anyway x
DD, bless her, has been being all grown up today and trying to deal with competent and helpful medical staff as well as totally incompetent and disorganised departments. She just wants a firm diagnosis and a plan, but we are still trying to move forwards. Flying has been dailies (sort of), a bit of ironing and an easy jacket potato dinner. Not much to show for it. Will try harder tomorrow.

Stuff cleared from hallway - but not all - and WUALTD and changed my bed. Marking online work took longer than anticipated...and is still not all done.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

fayolle..I hope your daughter has positive news and well done her being all adult and responsible. It is a good sign you raised them well when they can adult effectively!Apparently the wages are paid at 80% of what they earned last year, but he was just back off sick this time last year and on reduced ours so it was not a fair assessment of what he worked normally. He is refusing to speak to his boss about it, goodness knows why, it is him who will be going hungry! Sometimes he really pea's me off! All we need now is HMRC to decide he hs £3000 more than he actually gets like they did last year and stop our tax credits until they sort it out again like they did last year.. took Feb to Aug!

Morning all
Today is my first day with no job 2, although I am officially employed until the end of half term. I need to go and give my key back shortly, then I am not needed. I learnt a long time ago that nobody at work is indispensable, much as I like to think otherwise.
So I thought I would actually look at the lists 😉. It seems that I am on Wednesday, as I have stripped my bed and put the bedding in the wm, although somehow I don’t seem to have done any of the Monday or Tuesday lists, and it is actually Thursday - still with me?! Bed is now airing and I’ll remake it later. I have some admin stuff to procrastinate over, and need to whizz the vacuum cleaner around the stairs and LR. DW needs to run later, and DD has a hospital phone appointment later this morning.
For the moment, it is cuppa and porridge, looking out at a very frosty garden.
Stay warm and have a lovely day x6 -

Fayolle, for your family (especially your DD) you are definitely indispensable
I am equally muddled by the speed at which the days pass - am also planning to strip a bed, and also fitting my own jobs around the ancestors, rather than following the lists. And I'm also eating porridge and drinking coffee and looking out on a frosty garden (-4.9 degrees at 4.30am - don't ask me how I know.... Grrrrr! as well as Brrrrr!)
Pleased to report that DH is a lot better this morning, though he said he didn't feel up to making the breakfast. I must chivvy him to have a shower and put on all clean clothes, then I will at least have WMx??? to report later.
Zoom meeting at 10.30, webinar at 2.00, so this counts as a work day.
Oh, and pigpen, you wanted to be reminded about Dot's appointment at 3.30 tomorrow, though I expect you will have remembered!
(((Hugs))) spoons and sticks all round xx
