Valli, tell me more about your fossil activity, sounds fascinating. What age group is it for?

Ironing basket emptied, all done, folded and put away. Was mainly bedding which I don't iron so wasn't as bad as it looked once I got going.
Dining room nearly tidy, need to swop chairs round as one of the kitchen ones has been in there waiting for the glue to dry after its repair
Feeling frustrated as new sofa cover has arrived and I want to try it but I know it makes sense to hoover the sofa before the new cover goes on, unfortunately DH is working from home and on a call in the same room. Going to unfold it and see if it looks the right size as followed the instructions and went for the bigger size, it was a cheap option but if it works I will go for another in a different colour. I want to get the sofa reupholstered but not whilst we still have cats that scratch it and are a bit incontinent with age.
Off to finish dining room, wipe it down and get it back to how it should be. Yes I have a photo to remind me of what it should look like, how sad is that.10 -

When the girls came in they did not shut the back door properly and it blew open.. so 5 of my 6 indoor-never-left-the-house-cats escaped... OH and I found them terrified all over the garden.. it was like a weird game of hide and seek.. only fluffier and a bit spiky!

Good afternoon!
Thanks Natty for the lists, and thanks Valli for last week. I will try my best!
I got up very late, even though I didn't wake up late. Its cold and I'm not working, so why rush?
DH has WU and done the DW. The bed has been stripped and is still swishing. I feel the need to get rid of something - anything! An urge to purgeThe problem is, I am a hoarder at heart, in a houseful of hoarders, so it is not easy! I mean, it might come in useful one day, won't it? I think I need to re-read Marie Kondo! I know I will feel better if I got rid of some stuff.....I am going to start with the box of detritus that was taken off the bookcase last weekend - wish me luck!
Round how are you my lovely? I hope your eyes are ok x
Hugs to those that need them. Have a good day everyone9 -

Hello. Thanks for the list.
I am definitely in this week. DH has his first paid stuff for seven months so I've got the house to myself most days now for the next few weeks. Feels a bit strange. So, onwards and upwards.
Work shift done, first walk with dogs done, washing off airer and put away, dailies done and I've hoovered through and now cleaned the hoover as per list. Some admin done but I've just got to get a bit of printing done, then I'll walk the dogs again.Spend less now, work less later.10
