Right you lovely ladies.
1. When was your last eye test? If it's overdue - book one.
2. When was your last cervical smear? If it's overdue - book one as soon as they are on offer again. (Not sure what is and what is not currently available due to covid situation)
3. If you are of a certain age - when was your last mammogram? If it's overdue...you know what I'm going to say.
4. Ditto if you are eligible for bowel screening.
5. I'll let you off the dental check up as I think dentists are only offering emergency treatment at the moment - but make a note that it needs to be done - and when the reminder comes: make that appointment. No shilly-shallying.
6. Problems with your hearing? Or overdue a hearing test. What are you waiting for? Get it booked.
Any other niggling health problems? Speak to the pharmacist, the Practice Nurse, the GP. Get those niggles annihilated
You have unleashed a monster. Mwahahahaaaaa

Morning all. Hope you're all ok.
An update for Naggy Nora. I have a maintenance week booked at the end of the month. Dentist - two fillings, mammogram and optician. I'm hoping to keep glasses costs down by using two frames I love reused, so hopefully only one completely new pair.
Today, I plan to whizz round dusting living room, bedroom, change bedding, s&s bathrooms, clean floors, do dailies and walk dogs at least once. I'm also planning to start writing a short story and knit more button bands.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.10 -

Naggy Nora says RNIB recommends: Your optometrist will be able to tell you how often you need an eye examination. Most people should have an eye examination every two years even if you have no problems with your vision and don't need glasses.
Roundtuit and Weekend Willi are in hiding - both are conflict averse.
Seriously though - if Nora has got you thinking about looking after yourself she will be happy. Flyladies are very good at looking after everyone else and neglecting themselves. Look in the mirror - you see that person there? She is important too. Think about all that you have gone through in the last year / 5 years - and stand tall. You are stronger than you ever believed you could be. A warrior princess / queen / granny. So tip that crown / halo to a sassy angle; straighten your bra straps shoulders and know that you are amazing!

Morning all - this is Roundtuit creeping in with anxious glances over my shoulder in case Naggy Nora is lurking. You might well laugh - I now have to live with her!!!! And, between you and me, she was laid in bed this morning thinking of all the different ways that she could organise your lives nag you. So watch out for Naggy Nora Nudges....shhhh don't tell her we said. (Weekend Willi is nodding sagely but too scared to say anything.)

Hi ladies
Where oh where does time go?! I have been meaning to post for days. So, life has been pretty normal here for the past few weeks, I am working and the children are going into school each day. I’ve had confirmation they have places after half term as well which is good.
The lack of internet has meant I have been able to do lots of flying; I’ve decluttered bags and bags of clothes which are all in the charity bin at the Tesco car park; my black bin is full to bursting of broken tat; everything generally looks tidier. Next on my to do list is getting the wall paper in the kitchen replaced, then decorate DS room in spring. I’ve still been frugal to the core (note to self: must update frugal thread later).
We are having lazy day today, it’s still bitterly cold here and the dog is with one of my friends for the weekend so no reason to go walking.
Round thank you for the list - I had bloods and smear done recently, but eye test and dental check up are necessary. On this week’s list, thank you 😍
Right I’m off to put some brekkie together and fuss the hens have fab days all xx

Morning all,
A big hug to Weekend Willi ❤️So, Naggy Nora, for once I can tick off numbers 1,2 and 3. N/a to number 4. Number 5 the dentist is in the diary for later this month. Number 6 - well, it’s quite clearly DH who mumbles rather than my hearing 🤣.The wm is on. DH is emptying the dw. I have had a cuppa and have my book downstairs with me. I really will have to go into the gh to sort some seeds this morning, but it is blowing a hoolie atm and the wind chill is unbelievable. Today is feeling a bit “what’s the point” day, so I need to buck up and do something. Maybe some flingage would help - plenty of scope there.
Take care, hugs to all xx8 -

That's advice for NORMAL people.. I am so far from one of those. I can't deal with people touching me or being near my face and the guy who did my eye tests has since retired and I haven't imprinted on anyone else yet, his son works there instead now and I can not abide him, his weird clashes with my weird.. so I can't go. I didn't go to dentist when mine was on maternity leave. I only see 2 of the several GP's at our surgery if they might touch me.. I have some severe issues.

Everything done on my list including writing short story draft, but not including washing hard floors which I've lost all enthusiasm for now. Just warming up with a cuppa after a very cold dog walk then I'll get on with knitting more button bands.Spend less now, work less later.10
