Should we continue to feed him?

The best solution OP is to completely remove your windscreen entirely. That is perfectly legal. Might be a bit nippy though.

Everyone knows you tie some string to each wiper and pull it back and forwards to clear the screenfeolojad said:Stopping a few times to manually move your wipers isn't a defense, it's more incrimination as it clearly demonstrates you don't realise how serious of an issue it is. It is not only unsafe to drive a car without working wipers but it is also illegal to.

OK so I finally bit the bullet on this thread and opened it up. Purely because I wondered how such a thread title received so many replies. Now I see it. We're just waffling on.0

You included, it seems. Personally I think it's a wind up. I'm not sure anyone could be this daft.JustAnotherSaver said:OK so I finally bit the bullet on this thread and opened it up. I find it so funny that people think no one could do what I did. People do stuff like this and worse all the time. What I think is a wind up is that all you lot commenting on this thread never did anything that in hindsight was a bit silly. We're all human, mistakes happen.ontheroad1970 said:

I don't know if this has all been a wind up or not. I suppose it could be. but one thing I do know, is that there are genuinely people out there, that do the things o/p has described. I know coz I work in the motor trade, and some of the things people do,truly amazing.2

You should always first lift your wipers carefully from the windscreen if there’s snow or ice. If the wipers are stuck to the screen and you use them it will be expensive!0
