What other friends do you have? Siblings? Close colleagues?
Have you felt able to ask your parents for help or advice? How's it going, AKA, Nutwatch? - 12 month spends to date = 2.60% of current retirement "pot" (as at end May 2025)0 -
Ask him for your money, if he makes threats, your counterthreat of telling his wife is much worse, so if i am reading into this right he will not follow through with his threat. Unfortunately it doesnt sound like you will get your money back, but i wouldnt be worried about jeapordinsing your perseved friendship as it is non existant, all this guy is, is a leech, the friendship is fake so he can get what he wants off you...money. You would be better off without him.5

Op speak to your parents for any advice. You have lost the £6000. He is not your friend. Ignore / block all contact!
