Use this one as the bulk of the detail is here2

Quoted from your other thread:
Why does signage now have any relevance whatsoever to a claim regarding PCNs from 4 years ago? What matters was the signage then!LewisN2 said:if i am being honest guys, i dont think i will win this case
they have put up loads of signage - i can no longer argue insufficient signage (although at the time there wasnt any i cannot prove this) , i parked on a curb not within my allocated parking space so my tennacy agreement wont help as i wasnt parked in the allocated space.
i shouldnt have been parked there and dont really have any leg to stand on...
would agreeing to pay the original parking charge (£80 per PCN to DCB Legal) and not all the added costs be worth it?
PS - if they're claiming £320 for 2 PCNs then that would mean they were adding (unlawful) debt recovery charges of £80 per PCN. Are you sure the PCNs were £80? Or were they actually £100 (discounted to, probably, £60 for early payment) to which they've added (unlawful) £60 debt recovery charges?
Did you appeal at the time and out yourself as the driver? Were these windscreen tickets or through the post?Jenni x2 -
apologies, i am fairly new to this website - i will continue here as the bulk of the information is here

so perhaps i should just agree to pay the asked amount - i know they pray on people like me who just would rather pay it than fight at court, but i feel i dont have the free time to do it properly and even in any case i dont really have any evidence to support my argument for reasons above ^

You said on your second thread that the signage has since been updated. That does not matter as it is the signage at the time of the parking ticket that matters.
DCBL need to prove that signage in place at the time was sufficient. UKPC signs are feeble, especially a few years ago2 -

initially windscreen tickets and then letters in the post which i also stupidly ignored...
i dont have any proof that the signage was bad at the time and if i am honest i cant even remember if there was signage at the time but since then they have put a ton up.1 -
OK - if you've ignored everything to date then you're actually in a much better place than if you'd responded and "blabbed".
What were the dates of the windscreen PCNs? What were the dates of the corresponding postal PCNs? (Dates are important - if you don't know then that's one reason why you send a SAR, to get copies of the PCNs).
Question to the "team": do UKPC generally send POFA-compliant NTKs? Did they 4 years ago? (I suspect not).
Re. signage at the time ... Google streetview? Try looking on there and scroll back in time? Regardless you'd put them to strict proof of the signage in place at the time.
@LewisN2 ... I suspect you have lots of "legs to stand on" to defend this.Jenni x2 -

So, get on to doing the "debt advice" holding email (to DCB Legal) and the SAR to UKPC.Jenni x1
