I.r.c.  WTC's increased from High £30's or £40's pre week to High £70's range when I reduced work to 3 days from 5 per week.
Is there any way to estimate what a further reduction  to 2 days per working week could mean, I don't think this is a change of circumstances, though would need to understand costs of such a reduction.
t.i.a.

If you're single with no dependent children then you must work at least 30 hours per week unless you're claiming a disability benefit and then you must work at least 16 hours per week, anything less than this and you won't be entitled to any tax credits. You can use a benefits calculator that will tell you how much different it will be.
Also don't forget that the increase to WTC due to Covid is due to end in April this year.

    @poppy12345

I've been reading in interest the 'Additional' pandemic support is due to end, I remember it being announced for 1 year only, though some minor possibility something could be kept or one off payment being arranged.
As I have m.s. since2012, I am registered disabled, think dropping to 2 days could be 16 hours.
I didn't consider trying a benefits calculator as I waited on dwp issuing the changed amount when I dropped from 5 days to 3 days.
Thanks for taking your time to respond.

There is a Tax Credits calculator; I don't quite understand the intricacies of the £2500 threshold for changed income so I don't know if it would actually be any help, but it might give you some idea at least:  https://www.gov.uk/tax-credits-calculator

Thanks that's the Gov WTC calculator which I used earlier since Poppys advice.
Seems 2 days work could be possible.
off topic, though another Pension reduction could be a Mistake, not sure.
Another concern is if I'm removed from future Car Finance  with reduced earnings.
Lot's to consider, I'll decide over early Spring/Summer.

Thanks again Poppy, please remind me as I'm going to be redundant soon.
Is it my Local GP that provides a Fit Note as I think I'll be considered for ESA+Possibly UC.
I had a note a couple of years ago though that was from MS Physio Support Group.
    Thanks

Yes, your GP provides the fit note. I don't know whether other GP's are the same but i had to ask my daughters GP for a fit note for her recent UC claim and he sent it to me through email.. due to the current circumstances.
Just so that you're aware it will be New style ESA that you'll need to claim providing you've paid the correct amount of NI contributions in tax years April 2018 to March 2020.
Claiming both NsESA and UC together will not make you financially better off because the ESA will be deducted in full from any UC entitlement. Although the ESA pays class 1 NI credits and UC pays just class 3.

My GP Surgery won't do fit notes electronically, I had to go and collect one for Mum just a few weeks ago.

Reading this again i note this part here. Can i ask what you mean by this? Or do you mean you think you will coonsider claiming them? Managed migration hasn't started yet so do make sure that you won't be worse off by claiming these before you do claim because once you claim UC your tax credits will end and you can't ever go back.
