I had exactly the same thought. I think they need to be more specific about the calculation and perhaps offer a concrete example. I thought they would just offer a slightly lower tariff but then I read the small print.Gary1963 said:"We’ll calculate your bill value from the date we were appointed up to 30 September 2021 and if there is no decrease we will apply a credit to your account accordingly."
 What exactly do they mean?

Until they publish the unit rates its anyones guess. This is they key bit of information that is seemingly not available yet.Gary1963 said:"We’ll calculate your bill value from the date we were appointed up to 30 September 2021 and if there is no decrease we will apply a credit to your account accordingly."

Likewise - I was expecting something like a0.1 p/kwh reduction from my GNE for the period Jan 31 to Sept 30Hoof_Hearted said:

What is "no decrease" - ?Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill0

Not sure. I was with Tonik and they made such a mess of everything that they cancelled all my energy charges from the day they took over Tonik as SoLR to the day I switched to British Gas Evolve and repaid my Tonik credit. It could be that the money was given in compensation for them messing it all up.bristolleedsfan said:Malchester said:Feel yourselves lucky with getting a cheaper tariff with EDF. Just received an email from GNE asking me to reinstate my DD. Obviously computers running on auto pilot!0

No. Not sure that BedrockFred did...I read it as he'd received the "stay with us and we'll give £50 credit" email as did all(most) of us that switched away. Not sure that they automatically gave £50 credit for being compulsorily transferred to SP from YE...I certainly haven't had anything. Mind you I'm still waiting for them to sort out billing, opening meter reads etc, although I've switched to Simplicity (yep...great eh!)bristolleedsfan said:Malchester said:Feel yourselves lucky with getting a cheaper tariff with EDF. Hmmm - Just had a look at what EDF are saying about their SoLR take over of Green Energy, and whilst there are no tariffs showing yet, they have issued a promise that they will be less than the current price the Ex-Green customer was paying, and these tariffs will run until next September - (Just in case I've taken a Screenshot) - Though the 'Less than' figure could be 0.001 of a penny less and still meet the promise.0

Up until the other day we were Green Network Customers. Today I received an email from them asking for Meter Readings as it is the end of the quarter. Should I go ahead and send them or not, advice please, thanks, Bob.0

The changeover date was yesterday so I expect there will be some estimated readings going around.
But keep the readings going - I was with GNE but did mine a couple of times a month.Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill0

I put my reading in yesterday as normal.0
