You have been told the only route you can get this resolved, so instead of telling us about debt collector letters, you need to be sorting it out as instructed.
WE cannot give you more than what has been said. If he isnt involved now, he will most likely end up with a CCJ that will ruin credit for 6 years.

 Yes it has some connection to Martin Lewis but he is also (sadly) wrong with his 'advice' about parking charges.   Really badly wrong, embarrassingly so and at huge cost to victims who seek out the rubbish he has said in recent years (so don't).

Notice of recovery now from dcbl.. Says14 days to pay. back of letter small writting it says case is not subject to high court or bailiff action...
Can't contact son so basically it will I presume go to court 

So you didn't take the advice to create an email account as him and advise them of 'your' permanent US address?

Are you saying you can't contact him for the entire MONTH ahead from now, to get him to do this simple, single email?
